T-Mobile Team has terminated its contract with Lorenzo Bernucci, effective immediately, after being notified by the UCI that he had tested positive for Sibultramine, an appetite suppressant. The team ruled that the Italian rider's action violated the team's internal code of ethics.
So, they fire him for behaving like an anorexic teenager, taking slimming pills..
Hurray for stupid riders!

About Gerolsteiner..
Lately fashion that big sponsors pulling out..and gonna left big teams without a money..is bad ofcorse and bad publicity for cyling.
But after that we have left about 15 Pro teams...wich is can be also good. More continental team's gonna get chanches to be involved in big races.
And belive me Slipstream wasn't exeption there is more to come in next year..we all know about australians and why not someone else. |

The season has yet to conclude, but Caisse d'Epargne is already doing a "Caisse check" and can be very satisfied with the season of 2007.
Not surprised..team best rider has been so far Karpets..and after stronger doping hunt season results are going backwards..make your own conclusion's. |

Not an chance Wiesenhof-Felt had the same fate the team will disband next year in Germany nobody is willing to pump money in cycling just t mobile in rest nobody to show 0 tolerance to doping in that way after 1-2 years the sport will be clean in Germany idiots ......germans.... they drink to much bad beer (Hate German Beer )
Cycling won't be clean as long as we have T-Mobile... They can say what they want but their team is still one of the top dopers in the PT... Heck I'd say they're first now that Disco is gone...
It's too bad Gerolsteiner is going to disband, even though they've never really done a whole lot (that I can remember). I was hoping the disbanding team was Boygues because it would make the PT a lot better... |

Don't talk like that about Bouygues.
They won GP Ouest with Voeckler, so, right now they are the best team in PT. After Liquigas, T-Mobile, Gerolsteiner, Caisse, Disco, Rabobank, CSC, Lampre, Saunier.............

I dont think is T-mobile fault...this is result for chase down dope users..and germans has been lately most activ one. T-mobile ha sponsor alreasy at the winter sayd that they gonna bull out he's sponsorship at germany tour if they dont get any results about Puerto case. Stuttgard world championshio..heck they even dont let Valverde to start..this is something. Point is at least germany some things are moving.
Id you want to wach dopers then look at spain teams.
Disco yes..good that Bruyneel is gone..for a moment. One conspiracy theory..after this year strong doping hunt..Disco big mans decided that guys lets pull this blug out before it's gonna be dirty.
Gerolsteiner has been nice team..they got Schumacher..Rebellin..ofcorse Fothen and Kohl TdF was just disaster. Also they have nice sprinter duo..great balanced team. |

T-Mobile may be moving towards a cleaner sport, but I think they have beena clear part of the problem ala sinkewitz, Ullrich, Vinokourov, and certainly many who weren;t caught.
I was never saying for a second that Spain was in any way cleaner, because they are probably the worst doping country ; Valverde, Basso, Mayo are just a few of the recent ones.
But with credibility in the sport being a real issue right now, I have a hard time believing that team are really going to make a significant push, becase going clean now would hurt results because the arm of the law is so much slower than the drugs.
I agree with what you're saying though, since there is a doper hunt now, but I have a hard time believing Slipstream's stance on doping especially since they are going to be based in Spain... |

I tend to agree with Guido Mukk. Even though I'm German (as is Mukk judging from his grammar ), T-Mobile is definitely not a team encouraging doping, quite the opposite in my opinion - I'm not a fan, far from it, but they seem to be a lot stricter than some of the Italian or Spanish teams -no names though.
I don't feel like starting a witch-hunt but Di Luca winning the Giro while running rings around Cunego and everyone else was plainly ridiculous.

A couple discrepencies with the(other above) above statement.
1. Basso is Italian
2. Slipstream's stance has been clear from the start. There stance is that, essentially they will prevent the doping from happening. They spend hundreds of thousands a year to monitor riders taking test on each rider 2-3 times a week. Rather than have dopers get caught Slipstream is saying 'we won't have any dopers on the team at all.'
3. Baseing their European squad in Spain means nothing.

We already know that end of the 90-s. almost 70-80% of the peloton was doped...and how many names we have? And who has done his homework...
I admire Riis ..he stepped up and says sry. I was one of them..
In US Postal team (Disco) this is national secret..they do anything that something dont gonna leak out. |

He has violated the team's internal rules (= he's probably been caught for doping) |
