I just meant, who cares about Leipheimer here. It's not exactly like Leipheimer is in shape and really wanting to win badly. The guy just had his best Tour de France ever, you can't expect him to be top anywhere. And I wanted attention for Gesink cuz he's only still a neo-pro, and a lot people acted like this was normal |

I agree with Ruben that Gesink has been extremely good. This is - almost - as good as Andy Schlecks performance in the Giro.

however Schleck is a 2nd year pro.
Wouldn't be suprised if Gesink does something like Schleck next year's giro or vuelta |

I think Gesink will stay for lower Tours one more year to young no offence... but too inexperienced and if he will go full throtle for one Grand Tour he will be finished for the whole season

Gesink vs Sörensen for the white jersey in the TT today.
To compare previous TT's
Romandië TT:

77 Chris Sörensen (Den) Team CSC 2.33
Dauphine TT:
55 Robert Gesink (Ned) Rabobank 4.16.70
85 Chris Anker Sørensen (Den) Team CSC 5.13.38 |

Don't worry. No one in the entire world expects Chris to do better than Gesink in the TT |

I'm happy for Voigt. It's unfair to call him doped. He's never been involved in anything - and he's a guy who always makes a race interesting. A deserved winner. |

here's another way to look at it:
maybe with so many dopers being suspended, the non-doped guys finally have a chance... |

Voigt might have doped but he's seems to have been clean for a while now. Don't knock him off in his moment of glory. |

Great stuff from Voigt, impressive for a guy of his age to be able to do a thing like this. But one of my favourite danish riders also deserves some credit, neo-pro Chris Sørensen, who finished 6th in the GC. |
