Alonso won't dream of signing for Renault until he knows what Renault's punishment is going to be. so, in the interests of saving time, Renault has admitted to spying.
also, the british minister of Defense has quit his job so he can pursue his passion of motor racing. he'd been second in the british touring car championship this year and is going to compete in the ALMS next year so he can (hopefully) qualify to race at Le Mans.
good for him

they have the wind tunnel fixed, finally. next year's car will be decent. the 2009 car will be top-class.
as for Ferrari, Todt is staying. he's just not accumulating the roles of Team Principal and DS. he's just Principal now. Business and Commercial genius Stefano Domenicali is the new DS.

apparently Andy Priaulx is getting to test a Williams for a day as prize for winning the WTCC again this year.
he should play the lottery. for the fourth year he won due to outrageous luck
there is absolutely no one on this earth who can argue that he deserved any of his titles. just last weekend it was handed to him on a plate AGAIN due to yet another one of those "a meteorite falling on me right now is more likely" combination of events

Haha I just read into it and yeh, he got kinda lucky. With him like 10th into the final lap and his 2 rivals 1st and 2nd only for one of them to have their fuel pump fail and the other to crash

not exactly:
he and muller had 81 points. Farfus a bit less. at Macau the car won't help you much. it's up to the driver's skill, so Priaulx qualified way back in 12th. only the top 8 score points. most importantly, the top 8 at the end of race 1 are reversed for the start of race 2. so, 8th starts race 2 in first, seventh starts second, etc.
Priaulx was down in 12th in the penultimate lap, Farfus in third and Muller in the lead.
so Priaulx would need them both to be out, and to gain 4 places so he'd be 8th and start the second race from the front. no chance really.
or was there?
Muller's driveshaft fails one lap from the end, two turns later Tarquini slams into Farfus putting him out of the race.
Priaulx still needs two places, so his teammate Huisman slams Larini out and immediately lets Priaulx past. Huisman gets a huge fine and a suspension of course since that's unbelievably foul play, but since Priaulx didn't do it himself, he gets no penalty. so, Priaulx 8th, starts race 2 from the front and the others are nowhere.
