@ Levi4life - Good for you and America. It's nice to see cycling popular in the land of the burger (sorry, complete stereotype there). The following in Britain is awful, but after the prologue this year, we hope that it will change

Rasmussen: "I never doped. I've been betrayed"
he also compared himself to Picaso, saying his greatest masterpiece has been stolen.
of course it has been "Pablo".....seems like the shaven head has let the sun fry his brains...
comparing himself to Picasso...honestly, what is he thinking? |

He was asked how he felt about all this. To that he answered that it would probably be the same as if someone stole Pablo Picasso's paintings.
Anyway, the interview primarily says this:
- Rasmussen will remember this forever
- Rasmussen has never been doped
- ASO are idiots
- DCU are idiots
- ADD are idiots
Nothing special. All the juicy stuff, for example if he really was in Italy, he didn't want to answer. He said that he had to hide these details due to the forthcoming trial. |

yes, I got the whole interview, but at least the way it was reported, he was clearly comparing himself to Picasso having his masterpiece stolen... |

Based on what he said in Danish, I wouldn't say he compared himself to Picasso. I know that a translation might suggest this (actually, I tried to translate what he said, but it proved out to be more difficult than I thought), but in fact he just says that he feels the TdF-victory, the highest he can archieve, was stolen from him, and that it probably feels a bit like if someone stole a Pablo Picasso-painting. |

on the subject of news the Iraqi soccer team won their Pan Asia game. Levi got on the podium of the biggest annual sporting event in the world and our news is Void of Levi. But of course we must hear about the Iraqis kicking a ball around. |

Nice to see Iraq beginning (very, very slowly) to get back to some semblance of normality - it'll be a very long time until normality does return

And now Michael Rasmussen has declared that he wants to become a Mexican citizen so he can ride the World Championship and the Olympics. |

I had expected it, so had many other people, I think.
But Danish Olympic Committee said that it would probably not pick Rasmussen. |
