honestly, with or without him, I don't see a brit winning.
Millar I have my doubts about, and 8km is simply impossible for Wiggins (far too long).
certainly Cavendish isn't going to win it.
then again...if Cance isn't there... WHO WILL win it??
interesting...suddenly I also wish he doesn't get called up...

I like the fact you mentioned Ardila and not Dekker...Ruben is going to have a fit when/if he reads that

It was more of a short cause that suited sprinters, Daniele Bennati was 2nd after all! And Robbie McEwen beat Michael Rogers. |

Todays (yesterdays) stage didnt show that much. It was very short 3.8 km, and some sharp corners aswell. I doubt that Dekker can do anything in the GC. As far as i know he hasnt been riding since Romandie and of course he´s gonna be a bit out of shape. Guess it´s gonna be a battle between F Schleck and the podium candidate from T-Mobile (Rogers, Sinkewitz or Gerdemann) Simoni might stille show some Giro but other wise i think the winner most likely will be some guy not doing the tour. Just like K Gil did last year when only Der Jan beated him.
I also very much hope that Lars Bak from CSC will show good form. Sad if Rasmussen is the only dane in the tour yey again. He showed some good promises today with a top 25 i think. |

It was a shot, technical prologue that did suit the sprinters more than the specialists (Apart from Cancellara). |

Brajkovic was the guy who crashed.
Oh, poor guy. It's funny .. I do feel a little different about him. Maybe because of the fact that we have all talked to / with him at the Cyanide forum (registered as Gianni - he hasn't been much online since he signed with Discovery, though). You visit the wrong forum then, he posted while being leader in Georgia on the PPDB forums B) |

let's hope he doesn't get sick like last year... horrible time? 61th for a 3.8km curvy prologue is a miracle time for him. He truelly sucks in corners and technical prologues. I think it's a miracle he didn't fall
Even in topform (Romandie) his prologue was only a 24th place. Can you imagine a prologue after not racing 1.5 month + his hip injury where he only just recoverd from... |
