You want something on slipstream huh? How about the official 2008 roster press release, even if you don't, here it is.
The most talked about 2008 team has officially announced its roster for next season. Team Slipstream-Chipotle - the one with the pastel pink Argyle kit - has secured the services of some very big names, including British National Champion David Millar (pictured), David Zabriskie, Tom Danielson and Magnus Backstedt.
Ten of this year's Slipstream riders have been retained for 2008. The new additions take the squad up to 25 riders, including one as-yet-un-named rider who will be announced after the US Professional Championships.
Despite the big hitters present on the squad, the team is not registered for the UCI's top-level ProTour, instead opting for Continental Professional status. They are relying on wildcard entries to the larger, ProTour-ranked events.
The US-based squad is run by former US Postal Service/Credit Agricole professional Jonathan Vaughters, and has a unique and very stringent anti-doping policy.
"I am encouraging our team not to point fingers," says Vaughters. "If we don't win I don't want to hear people complaining that we didn't win because everyone else was doping. That's not what it's about. If eighth place is the best our guy could do on a given day, then that's the best he could do and I am OK with that. If our guys are out partying, not performing and then saying 'Well, everyone else is doping' they won't last five minutes here."

You missed this bit:
In a typical Vaughters twist, the 2008 Slipstream-Chipotle jersey design will come from the general public in the form of a contest. The top five designs submitted to the team's web site will be voted on by the public and the winner announced at Interbike. One major rule is that argyle MUST be used in the design, along with a few other details like including all of the sponsors.

that wasn't in a press release i copied + pasted, but here's one for ya
Get in the Slipstream" Contest Lets Fans Enter for a Chance to Design the Official 2008 Slipstream/Chipotle Jersey
For the first time in cycling history, a fan will design a professional team jersey. Slipstream's "Get in the Slipstream" contest will allow fans to submit design ideas for the official 2008 Team Slipstream/Chipotle jersey. The winning design will become the official team jersey, worn by the team in and out of competition for the entire 2008 season. The winner will also receive a full team kit and jersey autographed by the team members. A panel of judges, including Doug Ellis and Jonathan Vaughters, will select the top 5 jersey designs on September 21, 2007, and the public will then be invited to vote for the winning jersey.
It is fun and easy to compete!! Download the fan design toolkit here and then submit the form below, along with a .jpg, .gif, or .png version of your jersey design to be entered into our jersey design contest. Image files should be no larger than 2MB. If your design is chosen as the winner, we will contact you to coordinate getting a high-resolution version of the design. Here are a few more rules to help you get started:
The design must contain at least one of the following pantone colors: Blue: 279 Orange: 144.
The design must incorporate the Slipstream argyle pattern as displayed on our website. Argyle is defined as a pattern containing diamonds in a diagonal checkerboard arrangement.
All designs must feature the Slipstream logo at least 12 X 4 inches with the Chipotle logo and the Felt logo at least 8 X 5 inches on the jersey. Logos are included in the toolkit.
The design must fill the shape provided on the PDF or AI template; templates are included in the toolkit
No other shape or size may be used.
All entries are due no later than 3:00pm New York time on September 15, 2007.
Please be sure to read the contest rules.
Thanks and best of luck!

Gerolsteiner has decided to put an end to its sponsorship
Will probably mean another exit for a PT-team at the end of 2008 |

Probably due to all the doping talk. Actually, the sponsorship has been really good for Gerolsteiner, especially on the German market. But they can't live with all the problems. |

The German mineral water company Gerolsteiner will not extend its sponsorship contract of the German ProTour cycling team when it expires at the end of the 2008 season, it was announced on Tuesday.
Gerolsteiner has sponsored the team since 1998, but with several high-profile doping scandals involving riders from other teams tarnishing the sports image, the German company decided to call it quits.
The team includes German Stefan Schumacher and top Italian Davide Rebellin in its ranks.
The Gerolsteiner decision appears to stand in contrast with that of company T-Mobile which announced last month that it will stay in the sport. Both companies, however, are honoring existing contracts, which in T-Mobile's case lasts until 2010.

sry. if this gonna be double post..
T-Mobile Team has terminated its contract with Lorenzo Bernucci, effective immediately, after being notified by the UCI that he had tested positive for Sibultramine, an appetite suppressant. The team ruled that the Italian rider's action violated the team's internal code of ethics.
