for those who don't have eurosport, I believe (not completely sure) that cycling.tv is also transmitting.

I've always wondered about the order of the riders in the prologue, I thought riders were chosen randomly? |

The order of the teams might be random but the teams decide in which order their riders will go.

it's mostly done by the organisers, but teams can request changes. usually the organisers have no objection to those requests.

Boonen was never going to do the Eneco, he is going to La Vuelta.
Also TT Prologues in the tour are in teams
The team submit the order and the ASO draw a start list from that.

where'd you see that?
he said after the Tour that he was doing it, I'm not aware of him changing his mind. of course he did hurt his hand, so...

not exactly. ASO draw up, then teams make suggestions and it ends up with more suggestions.
for example, if you have a GC favorite in the team, ASO won't accept that any suggestions for him to start anywhere except near the end (I'm speaking about the Tour now)

McEwen says in his blog he's doing the Vuelta
This start list suggests otherwise

the team didn't include him for the Vuelta. he was pissed and said he doesn't care and is going to do the Vuelta no matter what.
I can imagine the team told him to take a running jump...

Hm..this must be Predictor dilemma.. McEwen wont finish this race again..that means Predictor waste of man (as Cadel is in and one of the favorite they might need all 9).
Robbie is getting old..he sprints well for shure (cant forget TdF..when he comes back to the peloton and takes the win)...but he's goal win 1 for every tour..last year that goal was 3 on every big tour. |

Predictor obviously want a strong team for the GC. McEwen isn't a GC contender, yeah he can sprint but it's the GC they're after.
