This more like I sayd in the night. I am not speculating that he was doped. But there should be another reason..this mexico..italy drip isn't enough for me. I need more info. |

then why all the contreversy he may have just gone to see his wife.
yes sure get him suspended for the rule break of which you mentioned earlier isso. But to tarnish his name by saying he went to Mexico for drugs, until people have proof, i don't agree with.
him going to Mexico to do drugs is at the moment as great a possibility as him going to see his wife, by secret as he wishes it to be private.
again that will probably sound stupid but both theories are the same probability until some proof of either one comes to light

the decision was: Petacchi not guilty. he will come back now, but the UCI are considering an appeal. |

Petacchi has been cleared of any doping charges as they now believe he was having medication for his asthma or something similar,
but now the anti-drugs guys are appealing against the decision

yup. a lot of famous patients. those three were included. Dekker stopped seeing him in 2005. Lance stopped in 2004 |

And the main accusation - the reason why he (Rasmussen) has to be doped.
Is that noone - even under an immense pressure - is allowed to be THAT stupid.
His explanations are hollow and makes no sense. If that Italian ex-rider is right (if he isn't, he is such a fool) there's no doubt. He is a liar. |

feel sorry for Rasmu as i always enjoyed watching him race. if he is doped or not is not the issue here rabobank have shown they are commited to cleaning up the sport by thowing away the yellow because of dishonest behavior. hopfully other teams(Discovery, Lampre, Milram etc)will follow and we can get back to clean racing |

rasmussen says that de rooij has gone mad.
he says it was his decision and that the rest of the team leaders didn't know about it |

I hate media
They talk that cycling is finish or will be out near the future, but they don't understand that despite the scandals people continue to watch cycling.
They always broadcast the end of cycling, but for if someone is catch, cool, one less doper. Can they understand it??
Well... |

Well - no doubt about whether Theo is mad.
Their timing is horrible! They should've known about this long ago! Theo says himself - that Rabobank knows the precise whereabouts of their riders.
Obviously - they really really don't!
I know Rasmussen has a "free role" on the team, regarding riding AND training.
Still, this is a shitty handling of the situation. |

Well - you have to admit that this IS a blow for the sport.
I still love the Tour (probably always will) - but it's not the same as it was years ago. And next year - it won't be the same as the stages with Rasmussen in yellow. |
