hope it's not the same type of thing...but coming from that team...who knows.
I think it's the first time I'm actually wishing someone is ill.

Save the doping talk for a doping thread. Its a new generation of cycling. Giro proved it. Clean hard racing. Doping is a thing of the past. I"m more excited about the present. Dopers, whoever they maybe , are long forgotten by me.
Anyways gooo LEVI! |

I agree that it's the best to to forget about the dopers, but with the forthcoming meeting between UCI and the teams' organization I can't help thinking of what they are going to talk about (= exclusions). |

Or maybe it was because he had to launch his own coffee brand. According to his website, he now offers 6 different kinds of coffee flavours. Each one of them is named after a mountain: Brasstown Bald, Col de la Madone, Mt. Evans, Mt. Washington, Iron Horse and Mont Vetoux. He has the time record on the first five of them - but not on Vetoux |

notice that only two of those records aren UCI approved since the others were done with bikes that were under the regulation weight

apparently the reason Astarloa didn't start was Toxoplasmosis!
and according to cyclingnews, Danielson has had a relapse of the stomach virus problems
EDIT: de Maar has the same problem.

sakai5, am I the only guy who gets really annoyed at the commentator's complete inability to pronounce any non-latin name?
apparently, a certain Marcel Spielberg did well today.... among twenty or thirty other mispronounciations...
anyway, great form by Moreau (as always at this stage of the season). the way he held the lead was very impressive.
now looking forward to tomorrow's time trial, and thursday's ascent of the "Croche-de-fer" (according to the commentator )

yup. A great win for Moreau..I don't understand why Redondo didn't fight for the win..
He should have his reasons.. |

what do you mean? imagine him commenting an entire tour? he does. it's pitiful. especially because he says so many stupid things, makes up many when he doesn't know, and always refuses to admit he's wrong. I hope they bring back the half-french commentator for the Tour.
if that's not what you meant, please explain

I think it shows a lot of fair play by redondo. he didn't work at all to help the break so he didn't try to win.

Last year i didn't watch TdF, because of our stupid national TV didn't broadcast it(always football)
So what i mean is that i always watch Tour in RTP2. And i don't know if he works for Eurosport and also for RTP(i don't remeber him). Thats why the misunderstanding. |

thankfully that idiot only works for eurosport. he's a former cyclist, actually, but I've never heard of him (Paulo Martins)
you can catch the tour on RTPN....assuming you have cable. if not, you're a bit screwed
