I was just surprised that you might be talking about Vino. he's pretty far down the rankings.
even Valverde would need to win the Tour AND a stage to be top...

Well if he gets podium in both and maybe a stage that might change things... |

he might actually win the Dauphine. he has a history of going for the win, not caring if he burns himself out.

what I meant is that he probably won't care about diggint deep to win the Dauphine and then get burned out in the Pyrenees at the Tour (think Leipheimer and Menchov last year)

Yes I dont belive eather that Vinokurov gonna ride hard on Dauphine. If speculate a little seems like Kasetskin has green light right now..go boy for victory..we have different job on TdF for you anyway. |

I think none of them [Tour contenders] will ride for the win. This is a warm up.
Nowadays there are many good riders who easily pick up the victory from the big names, what i mean is that the big names, first of all, are cautious about the Tour. Secondly some years ago the big names even warming up they won many of these previous stage races, and as i said cycling is getting more professional (the competition is more ferociously). So in the end new names will come up.

<3 Levi! Hincapie and Zabriskie didn't do to bad either. I was expecting better from Millar. Good ride for Wiggins. |

According to cyclingnews' provisional top 5 - a few riders must of lost time, including Levi + Valverde |
