Well his biggest opponents in the GC will be Gutierrez and Dekker, possibly Hoste. But mainly Dekker and Gutierrez.
He cannot afford to lose time in the Limburg stage (my region). The stage is similar to the one today, but there's 2 hills in and one of them, Hulsberg, is pretty wicked.
But if he rides like today it should be no problem at all. |

on one hand I hope Millar wins because he's a nice guy. on the other hand I hope he doesn't, otherwise I'll never hear the end of it from the brits here
so either way I'm happy

Let's hope for a miracolous Hoste win, because if Dekker wins I won't be quiet and if Gutierrez wins Dankan won't be quiet |

Circuit de la Sarthe and Post Danmark Rundt in 2001 - both Millar. Thats as far as 'major' races are concerned, i think.

believe me, it shows how long it's been. one stage gone, six to go and you're already talking of winning it

Good chance Millar will get suprised in the Echelons that will form in the stage to Terneuzen. I'm just saying though, you're about to see what Dutch "flat stages" are.. Most of the time the pack gets pounded by the wind. Especially in stage 3 and 4. Tomorrow should not be a problem yet I think.... |

i hope Millar does win as i think he deserves it for what he has done for the sport and how he loves it
and what Dekker said will give him a confidence boost, not that he really needed one but it would've helped a bit
i'm not sure about Millar getting suprised though, he seems to be a very smart rider i think he will realise the possibility of a split and since he is up in the GC he will be in the top half of the bunch all day
