Tour de Suisse

I was kidding.

supposedly a DS at Rabobank yesterday said about Eltink "if this is the best he's got, the Tour will be too hard for him"

Boven probably won't get picked since at this age he no longer offers the team much.

Boogerd and Dekker are off-form, which is normal, especially in Dekker's case, since this is his first race after taking a break. he should have raced Luxembourg but he has been struggling with injury.

Ardila is off-form which is okay, since he's most likely to do the Vuelta. I'd be immensely surprised if he is even being considered for the Tour...

I think it's perfectly normal for them (and Vino too) to be like this by now.

just look at Armstrong. when did he win the Dauphine? weren't those the only two years he showed weakness?

actually Ardila is crapPfft

i think he has started his decline now, unless he is going to, as issoisso said, put all his efforts into the Vuelta, but he definatley hasn't shown anything so far this season (that i remember anyway)

Schleck!!! Grin Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the stage because of word and exam preparation.

last season either. 2005 was his big year, but he seems to have faded badly. just like Van Huffel

Give him time. he's very young Smile

as I usually say, even Indurain took 5 attempts to make the top 50 Smile

and even then he was only 40-somethingth !!

being too swedish would be saying Backstedt would be king of the mountains Wink

I agree ardila is getting past his best but he is a columbian, we need more! Boven could ride, just because of his age doesnt mean he cant offer anything.

I didn't mean he was bad simply because of his age. I meant he doesn't offer much, but that's natural because of his age, since he was a very useful rider in the past.

Uran is extremely good, but I don't think Unibet will let him go.

why do you want colombians?

Yes, Backstedt have a weigt twice as Piepoli and he has been the heviest rider for TDf for several years... But in good shape and whit a sprint whit no corners he can fight for stage.

he was injured for most of last season, but this season I can't see why he hasn't done anything decent.
