Unibet are good, but asren't allowed to race, in my book they should be the only team with a cemented place in the ProTour after the way they've been treated

Random thought of the day (or night since I've just gotten home and have no desire to sleep whatsoever)
Caisse already have a Tour leader.
so, think for a moment which teams don't have Tour leaders.
he doesn't have many choices. he's not dumb enough to sign for Astana.
who will Contador sign for? Barloworld? Saunier? Liquigas?
if it's Barloworld, with ASO's attitude towards contador, they'd never get a wild card.
with so many team DSs saying off the record that they don't doubt he's doped, he has even less options.
it's going to be interesting, no doubt. I'm not seeing many options for him

Saunier Duval is also a good guess, I think. Iban Mayo, their leader, is gone for the next two years, Contador is Spanish, they are Spanish, he's doped, they are doped. Perfect match. |

Other news:
- Koldo Gil has been cleared of all charges and is - according to UCI - not involved in Operation Puerto.
- London is aiming for another Tour stage in 2010 |

My vote for that..and most of all I hope that ASO dont f***k things up. Like international teams (wich destroy's any meaning of sponsorships in cycling and good old tradition). |

Tinkoff won't sign Conta. he's said it himself that his biggest mistake was believing those guys were clean (Hondo, Hamilton, etc) and that he won't ever sign anyone even remotely suspicious.
he also said the only thing keeping him from firing those guys right away is that according to the contracts he'd have to pay a huge compensation amount. as such, he's letting the contracts run out. |

i think Conta will go to Caisse no matter what
again with the doping link
and yes Crue a couple of days after the tour was in London, it was announced to us all that we are aiming to bring it back in 2010, and why not, it was an awesome couple of days, and the organization really suprised me
if only they could do things like that for the ToB

Actually, some sources are linking Contador to CSC, but that's probably mainly due to the fact that CSC wanted to sign him before he went to Discovery. Now that the guy has won Le Tour (= large wage bill), and that everyone thinks he's doped, he's not a guy for CSC. |

I'm sure he won't. not as long as Valverde is there.
about the tour, didn't the city representative say they were trying to get it back in 2014 because it would be almost impossible before then?
I also seem to remember something about Rotterdam in 2010. |
