This is a thread for those of us who use sites such as Betsson, UniBet, Bet365, etc. to wager money on sports, in this case football.
I don't know how many people there are here who gamble, but if there are, feel free to use this thread to share predictions on upcoming matches, etc.
Some groundrules;
- Age limit of 18+. Underage people shouldn't be gambling with anything other than their lives.
- Don't wager more than you can afford to lose

Some groundrules;
- Don't mention how much you've put on a match. If someone reads about people wagering high sums people might be tempted to go down the same road. Instead use "units"; a unit is whatever you make it out to be.

- Don't wager more than you can afford to lose

I'll get the rambling-gambling party started;
A double on Serie A:
Fiorentina vs. Juventus - A@ 2.11
Torino vs. Inter - A@ 2.11
Totals odds 4.45
I think Inter should do the job. I'm somewhat unsure about Juventus. They've done very well so far, but I'm just waiting for them to actually get going this season.

@ Cactus Jack - I was thinking about starting up something very similar! Seriously...
Maybe we could use this threads for tactics/ tips/systems
Early this week I told myself I'm only going to start with £5 in my account and follow the following system:
System :
Step1 s£5 od(2.75-3.75.1)pw= £13.75/£18.75
Step2 s£13/£18 od(2.80-4.20)pw=£36.4/£75.6
Step3 s£35/£71 od(2.85/4.25)pw=£99.75/£301.75
Step4 s£88/£133 od(2.8/4.2) pw=£246.4/£558.6
Step5 s£170/£330 od(2.75/3.75)pw=£467.5/£1237.5
cash out= 85% of winnings
So far the best I have reached is stage 4.
BWT if Juventus do lost points in Seria A this season it will probs be against Fiorentina IMO.
Tip: I recommend checking out the Brazilian Leagues the home team win ratio is pretty phenomenal. |

Time for me to begin being too. Waiting for cycling as some the odds are ridiculous at times.
Good system Rider, might follow something similar, but at times or might be hard to stick to it :-P
Bet £10 on Villa vs Spurs. Both teams to score and Spurs to win at the end. £40 cash out. If we win I won't feel bad about losing a tenner, if we lose, at least I'll have something to be happy about :-P

I didn't fully understand your system, could you maybe break it down for me?

Not sure if i am able to comment since i am U18 (don't tell me i am not allowed to gamble because of my age, this is Serbia man! ), but i am "playing" some matches for fun. Mostly Champions League and Premier League.
And i am definitely more successful in real life's gambilng, then PCM's one.

@ Cactus Jack
It's pretty straightforward, it is:
Bet amount * the odds in decimal format = potential winnings
Example:
£5 *(3/1--4/1) = £15 -£20
and so on...
I will try a few under 3.5 goals accumulators and see if I get anywhere. |

But I didn't really understand the different "steps". Do you simply bet your winnings each time or am I missing something?

Yeah always start out with £5. If you win move onto the next step.
Mostly but never completely bet the winnings.
For example I had around £180 after wining 3 in a row so I placed a £90 bet. The bet just missed bur I was still able to cash out the £90 remaining. |

What's the biggest winning so far for you? Talking about quotas (or how does that says on english). Anyway , i won 7 matches with total of 127 quota, few weeks ago at mozzartbet. Sadly enough , i put small amount of money on that betting ticket...

I wouldn't really call it a system, to be honest. Sounds more like normal betting to me.
Anyway, my Juve+Inter was going well untill Juve said "you know what,this football is really for me anymore".
I started betting 1 year ago and so far I've lost £320. Not that much, but still annoying.

Planning to play this tommorow with big possibility of deleting Benfica from this "ticket".
All matches should be safe and it should be easy money, but it's football , soo..

I'm thinking these three matches today;
Schalke 04 vs. Chelsea - 2
Steaua vs. Basel - 2
Marseilles vs. Napoli - 2
Odds 13.87
I think Basel is a bit of a risk, but the two others should do well. Chelsea is in good form whilst Schalke has a fair amount of injuries. Marseilles isn't at their best, but Napoli are doing very well in Serie A with 6-1-1.
Basel and Steaua are both very good in their respective leagues, but Steaua so far have lost 0-3 and 0-4 whilst Basel beat Chelsea 2-1 and was close to getting a point against Schalke.

Napoli and Basel seem like good choices, but if it were me, i wouldn't bet against Schalke (are they at home?). They might have a few injuries, but they should still be able to take at least a Point from that match, if they have a good day. Plus they always do better in the Championsleague than in the Bundesliga, for some reason.

I've got a bit of a bad feeling about the whole thing, but all the CL-games today are very open ended.
Still, I only put 250 NOK on it, so if I win I end up with the tollerable sum of 3200 NOK.

Removed Benfica from that ticket and it was great decision. I won!
And this is for tommorow.
Total Odds - 27,xx.

Oh, real pity about Genk there.
I've got two bets, on with a Bordeaux-win and another one with win-draw in the same match.
1-1, but hopefully they'll pull themselves together in the 2nd half.
