So, what did you guys get for Christmas? From a materialistic point of view I got a lot of good stuff I got some DVDs ("Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself" () and "For the Money", the Wii-game Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, 3 amonths membership to a fitness centre, a(n) (electronic) kettle, a scarf, a belt, gift vouchers worth c. 135 € (c. 100 £), 2 concert tickets for my hero Kim Larsen, some weird radio controlled socket outlets () and probably some more stuff which I don't remember right now. |

Nah, well, I already got a membership at another fitness centre, but since I'm now moving I'll also have to go to a new place - and what's better than a free start? |

right right...keep telling yourself that
I at least don't have that problem. one of the gifts I got was even a box of chocolates...which is just the best way ever to say "I had no idea what to get you"
to be fair, if I had to buy myself a gift I wouldn't know what to buy, so I can understand perfectly

Actually a slightly better way to say "I had no idea what to get you" would be to write it in the Christmas card as my sister's godmother did. My sister's own godmother doesn't know what she likes to be fair she lives in Ireland but still
and i'd have no idea what to buy myself either isso, i didn't ask for anything at all this Christmas, i'm lucky that my mum has great fashion sense with the shirts and just buys me a laptop

a laptop...spoiled rich kids
my parents actually took a poke at me. along with the gift came a postcard saying "we wish you all the best (insert sentimental dribble about how they love me and that suprisingly actually touched me), even though we have no idea what you want to do with your life"
gee...thanks for the motivation mom
