Damn, I thought Matti Breschel was in third position on the home stretch but it turned out to be Cancellara unfortuneately. Matti would've claimed a podium spot from that position.
But good win by Petacchi.

McEwen could have won it easily, just look at the replay from above and notice how he was pedaling in comparison to everybody else. He was boxed in, stopped pedaling, started again and went to hit on into Freire, crossing the finish line with his feet out of the pedals. |
