Tour of Poland

Crazy first stage actually. I have never seen anything like it. Gotta admit I was rather amused by CSC's effort Smile

Watch out for Andy Schleck in this one. This time I'm serious Smile

Because of the, well, shitty conditions, the organizers decided to anull all time differences, meaning that my CSC boys haven't lost a single second B)

it was extremely weird seeing them all slowly parade themselves around Warsaw. CSC made my day, at least they looked like they were having a laugh! Smile

And yeah, Andy's in with a great chance of overall victory, but I'd love to see the brothers duel for it! Don't think its likely though...Sad

the UCI have been trying to shorten the Vuelta by a week so that they don't conflict...

they can suck on a lemon as far as I'm concerned

Well the first 4 or 5 stages are pretty boring as they're quite easy to predict, but the last two stages are very hilly and I really enjoyed them last year.

I think the last stage will be awesome. The call it the Queen stage Wink

At the end they do seven laps on a street circuit in a city called Karpasz (or something like that), and on this course there's a quite hard climb, that the riders, have to, off course, climb 7 times and there litterally no breakes between these climbs.

I know I'm looking forward to it. Smile

Did anyone see what happened yesterday? It was really crazy. I'm not too sure of what happened, but nonetheless the peloton ended on a road which was blocked by a police car.

And today, there was a pretty chaotic crash ON the finish line - yes, literally, ON the finish line.

You can watch it here:
https://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/playe...keurosport

Choose "Browse Videos", then "Cycling". The "Tour de Pologne Chute"-one is the crash on the finish line, and the "Tour of Poland 3: Highlights" shows the stage where a police car blocked the road.

a crach is never good but I found it quite funny when a rolling wheel passed the finish line without a bike or rider Pfft

Today's Tour of Poland report Grin

Hah, but that wasn't the best stroy from todays stage Grin

During first part of stage in one of biggest cities at stage (Piła) breakaway had quite a few minutes on peleton... So what happened? Somebody, propably stupid policemans let some cars drive behind breakaway Shock

In result Lang and Murillo Fischer saw cars trying to overtake them Frown Also few cars joined teams cars behind peleton...

This years Tour de Pologne is one, huge failure... I just hope that final stage in Karpacz will be better and we'll see some good fight of Schleck's, Di Luca and Rutkiewicz Smile

Sounds like a race that everyone wants to be at! I bet they get more wildcard resumes than le Tour.
