If we don't make it to France despite the fact that 24 teams this time will take part in the tournament, I really think we should consider getting a new coach.
Many were unhappy during the end of the era of Lagerbäck but when you look at stats, he took us to the playoffs in the big championships. The only thing Hamrén accomplished was to – with a bit of luck – make it to the 2012 European Champs.
However, I hope Sweden can beat Denmark. If Zlatan is in form he can do crazy things.

I really don't get it though. F.e. I know me and many others are not even sad about it because the team simply has no quality and we'll most probably suffer not qualifying for another tournament as well. It's all about waiting for a good generation now.
So if you act like that it's like cheering that Contador has beaten Mads Kaggestad |

24 nations will go and NL wont which is funny, your Kaggested comparison is hilariously bad |

If you compare the team that finished third at the world cup a little over a year ago to Kaggestad and teams like Northern Ireland, Albania and Iceland to Contador, you should probably get yourself checked out.

It's been a strange qualifying round for most top teams.
Though Netherlands isn't that with this generation and the WC was a big miracle.
Still, even Germany etc didn't impress me. Only Italy did, perhaps, of the top countries.
NOTE: I didn't see every match. Hell, I only saw a few. But just going by the results I saw |

Nah, average as always really, even though we have a decent chance of doing really well at Euro 2016.

it's accurate though because Northen Ireland, Albania and Iceland are in the european champs while and the Netherlands are not

I agree with ruben in a way- looking at the team, many of the players are homegrown, showing those playing in Europe are past it/not good enough/ Blind's stuffed up his team selection. I favour the former.

I am disappointed that once again Australia failed to qualify.

Average as always. Looks like Italy is in a BIG BIG crisis. We should open a thread to discuss that!

Basically;
After World Cup, appoint Ranieri
Lose at home to Faroe Islands
Appoint someone else
Lose away to Faroe Islands
FA goes bust, so can't appoint someone else
League on brink of going down drain
Players don't really bother
Lose to Northern Ireland
Just pack it in
