But where in the editor can you edit it?
The table name is DYN_team_race.
When using my editor, make sure that the options 'Use table lookup' and 'Use team filter'.
This list shows whether your team is invited or not (column: fkIDinvitation_state).

How do you change "favoured races" in a saved game? I set them to "0", but it does not work.

When adding a race how do you know the stage ID? id it under STA_Stage? Because when I add the stage there is no race ti add it to so it won't let me go to race. But if I add the race there is no stage for me to put in so it won't let me have it there withour a stage. Is there anyone with a suggestion?

@gmork:
This thread is more about technical problems with my editor but anyway you should give more information:
Did you really extract your save or the database or just a backup in the weeklysave folder?
Did you 'export to cdb' after you were done?
Did you try to export into another file and load that newly created file?
Did you check if your editing is still in the database by re-opening the file in my editor?
Are you sure that you are editing the correct column (gene_ilist_fkIDfavorite_races)?
Why are you sure that 0 is a reasonable value for that column?
Could it be that you mis-read the opening and closing brackets in that column as a 0? ()
And finally, what do you really want to achieve with that edit? I could not think of any reason to enter a non-existing race there.
@Mordekaiser:
I have no clue what your problem could be. It should be possible to add a race in STA_race, then add the stage(s) in STA_stage and finally define the first and last stage in STA_race.
There is an option to 'Use table lookup', turn it on or off if you think it is causing problems for your special case.

Thank you for answering my question and sorry if I was asking in the wrong place.
I was editing the wrong column, but now I know how to do it.

Gmyrek

Looks like your problem is with an invalid character, so these earlier posts (and the ones following them) by Lachi might help:

Thanks for your post, but I don't have any DB on the game (don't blame me) and I don't have any strange character in the Custom Team name..
But again, thanks for your post

It does not matter how that strange character come into your database. As long as it is there, you cannot use my editors (or the one from Cyanide). But you could try the fast editor which works differently.

And how can I find that strange character?
And If it is impossible to do so, where can I find the fast editor?

@Larodangibarovine: Yes you can. It works the same with every editor.
You might find an answer by using the forum search. Or you could ask somebody who already made such a DB, just check this sub forum or any other database sub forum.

If you don't want to fix the character then you can just use the fast editor.

What do you mean?
Can't you enter a lower date or won't the game accept a lower date?
In the first case, is it a problem of my editor? Like you could enter the earlier date in the XML file directly but not in my editor?
If it is a problem of my editor, then obviously you cannot edit it. I would need to reprogram my editor.
If it is a limitation of the game, then also it is not possible to edit it. Else, use another editor like my excel editor or the fast editor.

Like always: This thread is to ask technical problems about my editor. If you have general editing questions, you can do that in another thread.
Reason: I did program this editor but I don't know much about editing. As far as I know there is a table called DYN_scout or so, so you should be looking there.
