Pro Cycling Manager Champions League launched
Pro Cycling Manager 2016

A new Pro Cycling Manager competition is soon to be launched. Cycling Manager Italia, PCM Focus, PCM Spain, PCM Village and RSM News will organise together the 1st Pro Cycling Manager Champions League.

UPDATE: Other communities still have a chance to join the league if they organise a national championship in time. If you're interested, please contact emmea90 privately.

The tournament in its first edition will involve the World Champions of the past edition, as well as the National Champions of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Nederlands and Spain.

The competitions will be the same as the ones in the last PCM 16 World Cup and there will be ten of them, among track and road. With regard to Road, there will be 8 players involved, whilst for Track there will be 15 of them, at the end of which an overall champion will be declared, in addition to champions of each speciality. All the competitions will be streamed live on Twitch.

The races will be held the week immediately before the PCM World Cup, so the last week of April. Differently from PCM World Cup this tournament will be - for the 1st time - organized together by five communities at the same time.

If you feel like taking part, you first have to subscribe to your national championships. You can find info below:
- For Belgium and Nederlands: PCM Focus (tournament already started, subscriptions are closed)
- For Germany and Austria: RSM-News
- For France: PCM Village
- For Italy: Cycling Manager Italia (tournament already started, subscriptions closed)
- For Spain: PCM Spain

We hope to engage new countries and new communities in the next editions!

You can find all the information about the tournament on the official pages on Facebook and Twitter.
To meet up with the players and the organisers to get info, you can use the PCM Gamecenter Slack Chat.
Good luck to all the players who will compete in the 1st edition and may the odds be ever in your favor.

PCM 17: Beta Testers Wanted!

After a couple of months of delay compared to last year, it's time to bring some news about PCM 17, and the opportunity that you could be playing it as early as 2 weeks from now!

Cyanide is looking for 50 players to take part to their closed beta, starting on February 15th and spanning over the course of 2/3 weeks. The beta will involve the testing of new features in both procyclist and career mode, in distinct phases of the testing, and you'll get the chance to send feedback to the developers.

The only requirements are a good amount of free time, a Windows PC with Steam, an account on the official board, and knowledge of the English or French language, so why not give it a go?

If you want to apply, you have until February 12th to do so by filling this form. See the thread on the official PCM forum for more detail, or click on read more to read the official English announcement. And best of luck! Game Patch Available
Pro Cycling Manager 2016

We're not done yet! Today, February 1st, Cyanide released their 11th patch for Pro Cycling Manager 2016, 3 months after the last one, that was code-named

The patch doesn't really mark any overly important changes, unless you were concerned about your races crashing when they lacked their zces file, or that they would crash when you had no teams in sta_race's teams' list. Shocking. Besides that, slow motion for multiplayer mode has been introduced when nearing the finish line, and 2 other generic crashes have been sorted out.

Go Go Go!

The cycling season has kicked off for 2017! It's been a dark few months struggling through the barren winter (unless you follow CX of course, or the Aussie summer, or the Americas, or Six-Days.... cycling never stops). Now with the Tour Down Under it really feels back in action. So how has Daily been dealing with this?

PCMDaily Velogames Champion 2017 is here and will run throughout the season covering as many Velogames events as possible. Well worth checking out for the bigger races and prove you know who's hot and who's not. Other Races 2017 has really kicked off with the TDU, and a few other events popping in. From here the thread will grow as every year, and is a great way to keep up with all the racing results. News in January you don't normally see too much news in January besides team presentations, but it's been a busy month and there will be more to come before it closes. Womens Cycling 2017 will keep you upto date on the other side of road racing and provided solid coverage of the WTDU.

Gotta Play Them Games

Try out the PCM.Daily Grand High Wizard Contest 2017 for testing your prediction skills by guessing various outcomes to races throughout the season. I'm With Stupid: It's Back! is worth watching this week, the current round is about to end and with a new host it'll be the perfect time to jump into one of the sites longest running games. Or if you want to be locked up look at PCM.Daily Big Brother S3 - Over! where ideas for Season 4 are being welcomed and looked at.

Then there's the big game, the Man-Game. The Tour de France came to a close on the Champs Elysees with some very familiar names at the top end. The ProTour is currently in the Czech Republic with the remodeled Parha-Karlovy Vary-Praha. The ProContinental's headed to Italy for the well known Giro del Trentino, and boy was it a close finish to what could have been a whitewash of a race. The Continental's are in Slovenia preparing for a final hilly showdown to try and rewrite the GC. July is almost over for the Man-Game and the season is really hotting up.

Thread of the Week

As it has been a cycling heavy moment with the season kicking off it is only right to highlight a cycling related thread (yes i know this is a cycling forum and almost all threads are cycling related). So Thread of the Week goes to Future Grand Tour Winners for generating some future thoughts about who could be the next great stage racers. Worth looking at and noting some names, perhaps contrinute some we've missed.

PCM.Daily Awards: Winners Announced

It's now time to reveal the winners of this year's PCM.daily awards! If you've been around last year, you'll know that we've seen some of the tighest votes in the awards history, resulting in a total of 4 tied categories, and this statistic has repeated this time around as well. However, we have a new first too: a three-way tie, which has never happened in the awards' history!

There is the usual mixture of defending champions and new winners, congratulations to you all. Well done to everyone else who received nominations, and thanks to all who voted and took the time to send nominations, in order to make the voting possible.

To find out the winners, click 'Read More' and all will be revealed. I have also posted the full results into each thread in the Awards subforum.
