Game released in Germany, first unofficial screenshots emerge
Pro Cycling Manager 2011

German shops don't really care much about release dates. When they have a game in stock, it's sold - it's as simple as that. At least it appears like that. For the 2nd year in row, German shops have sold the game before the official release date, and while that may not please Focus/Cyanide, there's several benefits for those of us still waiting.

One is the screenshots. The official screenshots are all of the 3D race, and even though the management part hasn't changed a lot, it would have been nice to see the new colours in action. Thanks to the Germans, that's now possible. We've uploaded a lot of screenshots showcasing the main changes which can be seen here. We didn't bother uploading all of them (since most screens are of features that have not been changed), but if you like, you can get the complete pack of screens here.

Lastly, a tiny bit of official news: A British cover has appeared in some shops which is quite surprising considering the fact that Britain has never had a copy for itself before. You can see the cover here.

Those screenshots have probably pushed me towards not buying this year's edition. Management part has always needed a serious overhaul, which looks, yet again to be missing.

Any news whether the issues like it being pointless to attack/not sprinting at intermediate sprints have been fixed?

I'm the CrueTrue camp: I will buy it if they fix the AI.

#1: They said they had fixed the mountain sprints, so I'd be surprised if they hadn't fixed the point sprints too Wink

It seems that they have added Croatia, Serbia, Hungary and Turkey as scouting zones as well. Interesting move

I find it hard to buy a glorified patch. Maybe I'll change my mind once people report back having played it

Those screens from the management part are absolutely laughable. The picture of that binocular is just too much..

it looks like.. it's.. no.. no, I can't..

I dont care about any of the GUI stuff, if the AI is fixed, I'm buying it and thats the one and only factor in my decision.

Still missing the in game screens, and no info is spread about the gameplay Sad

There is just one guy in the German forum, who already bought the game in some shop. Most shops don`t have the game yet as it`s not officially announced.
So he is the only chance to get in-game information atm.

Im not very good with the computer terms so i would like to know if a Radeon 6650 (3D graphics card) is well enough to run this game at a high graphics level??
#13 | DaBobScotts on 18. June 2011 05:46
@Franki: It should suffice to run it at a reasonable graphics level. How much RAM does your computer have?

Hi,
can anybody check if there are variances in this version? I just installed the game but the variant folder is empty.
Thanks

@ # 17 You're the one who has actually got the game. Why ask us? I'd rather see you post some ingame footage.

If this really is the new GUI I will go to my room and cry. It really looks hideous and is in no way an improvement over the current 2010 interface. Horrible.
