Welcome to the PCM09 Road League thread!
This one is slightly easier, promise!
Pick a team, any team from the teams in PCM 09, I’ll imagine we’ll be using a ladder DB.
Now onto the racing.
The league runs from Late August 2009 – Late May 2010. Organised races take place once per month. There a 2 months where we play 2 games.
Round 1 - August x - TIME TRIAL (Team)
Round 2 – August x - SPRINT
Round 3 - September x - MOUNTAINS
Round 4 - October x - HILLY
Round 5 - November x - Cobbled Classic
Round 6 – November x - Mid league TT (individual)
Round 7 - December x - Hilly
Round 8 - January x - Mountain
Round 9 - February x - Cobbled Race
Round 10 - March x - Hilly
Round 11 - April x - Mountain
Round 12 - May x - Sprint (Champs-Elysees)
In the week or 2 leading upto the stage I will put up 4 candidates for the stage, it’ll then be put onto a poll to decide which we play. (The exception is Round 12, I’ve already decided!)
Scoring
(For those in the UK watching the tour series, you’ll know where I’ve taken this from, and then simplified it!)
I will add up the first 3 riders placing. (So 1st, 2nd and 3rd = 6 5th, 6th and 7th = 18) Lowest number will win.
(I’ll make a more detailed post on this before we start racing!)
For now I want interest, team selections will come later, I’ll be using a randomiser to select the order of players choosing their teams. (Even though with equal stats, it doesn’t matter)
Then we’ll move onto stage 2 (which I’ve stolen from the man game!)
You can change the sponsors of the team and it’s jersey etc.
ALL THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE 2 WEEKS OF THE FIRST GAME!
All dates have x next to them because they are undecided. They will take place in the last 2 weeks of the month though!
So, show interest now. Sign up, the team selections will take place in July.
EDIT: Some Dates for you
5th July, team list revealed. Order of picking teams given.
6th July: The team chosing begins.
Once thats done: Remaining teams are here of first come, first served basis.
Before the end of the tour: First stage selection will start to take place.

Let me explain how Phase 2 works:
I will randomize all your names into an order.
I'll then get the DB, and PM you the list.
Each person in order gets their pick.
So, number 1 in the order can pick any team, last person will have a lower number to choose from.
