Hi there,

I am new on the boards(first day) and I am fairly new to PCM. I played alot back in the day and i am trying to get back into it. I would really love some feedback.

I am currently in my second year with Team Ergomo. My best riders are Gianpaulo Caruso and (I guess) Sergi Escobar. I dont have the stats in front of me or i would give them to you.

I have only one two races (Well, one race, twice) with Gianpaulo. I was wondering what the best formula to win a stage race (as those are my goals)

When, and Where should I use energy gel?

I recently employed 2 Mythical trainers (currently training 3 riders a piece) how long before they make any difference?

What are some good Cobblers that could possibly be an asset to my team (Please note that I can only employ mid 70's AVR if that)

All help is appreciated

Welcome to the forum Wink

In terms of race tactics, I don't do much more than following (countering) race attacks by the favourites on last hill/mountain and getting a good pace to the finish with the dot button. If you don't have the form, then this wont work unless your much better stats wise then your opposition. For TT's, I always try to find a rythm, but I've noticed you can really gain time by conserving energy (but not too much) on the flats and then going for it on the hills. Attacking on downhill finishes is also pretty useful, because the computer tends to be more conservative there.

Use your gels if your about to either attack or sprint for the line, or use it when your countering major attacks to last longer.

In terms of your trainers, they should be able to train more than 3 riders (each one has different rider limits, you'll see when it changes from 'excellent' to 'very good' when assigning riders). Someone else will have to talk about their merits, I'm no expert.

so, would you use the dot button before the sprint button? and at what point do you go to 99%?

how many riders do you use in a short relay train? and how do you join in on an already existing train?

Use as much as you like. And to join a train set the effort high enough
