Ok, i remember in the elimination with PCMBenelux that we were absolutely blindsided with there team attacks and what not. I think we need A pre-selected group of riders for each role, for example:
3 team leaders (our best players) they stay in the wheels and don't go with any attacks or pull or anything for the most part of the race.
2 teammates (worst players) these people need to work on the front to close down gaps or whatever need be
2 attackers (like matt  ) they will follow attacks in the beginning to middle of the race to make sure if anything goes clear we have people there
1 lead out man, i think if it comes down to a bunch sprint it would be useful to have someone lead them till 100 meters to go
and we also need counter-tactics, basically if there's a team attack TEAM ATTACK BACK DAMIT 
and EVERYONE needs to be in teamspeak weather or not they have a mic

It sounds good, but in scratch I think it will be hard to get a leadout, most times, it's mostly luck in the end.

We definatly need some practise matches before the start of the Match. I think lead outs would work. However, we need the best overall score so it would not be good to sacrifice players and loose out on points. |

in that case what t-baum said would be good. only I'd say 5 peaple saving their energy until the last 2-3 laps with one of those leading the other 4 out into the final lap. and the other 3 to attack(and chase). make the portugese work instead of ourselfs |

I'd say, when we attack, then if the protugues counter us, then stop and take their weel instead of just working for them.

Actually i dont know if its about overall score. I was just speculating. But i think that is what is is need to win the team overall... |

I'd like it a lot more if it's about heat wins. then you would really have the best options with team tactics. |

What i was saying wasn't the best i doubt, im just saying that we need a better plan.

It might be a mix, so we can have heat victory bonus points and double points for the captain. That's my idea anyway. Haven't discussed it with Gabriel yet. |

Yeah, i suppose we could work our plan round one person then. Also that would be much better as we would all be able to give each other a pat on the back if we worked well and won the round. I suppose the qualifcation rounds will prove who the best Scratch racer is.
Personally i think its a very nice principle to work around one person, i would like working for someone and watching them win and all my hard work going to good use. It would take some practise but i think we could get it right. |

Exactly, some people are good at some things and some people aren't, so trying to get someone to do a role that doesn't really fit them is stupid.
