P&A DB '08 - Available now! Update finished!

Like last year we, Petacchi and me, are making a '08 DB, too. We have almost finished, but I can already show you some features:
-> playable with the patch
-> edited values
-> real team- and racenames
-> different versions (with and without dopers)
-> 3 new teams (Milram Conti, Rabobank Conti and SouthAustralia)
-> incl. all jerseys (team, champion, minishirts)
-> almost every rider has his picture
-> over 200 faces
-> new equipment (look below)
-> new races (Championships, Tour of Germany)
-> ca. 30 new free agents
-> nat. champions from 2007
-> Astana isn't black anymore
-> no potential is higher than 6
-> Teams use the new equipment

The screens were made at the beginning of our work. Things have been changed since that.
Current situation of our project:
-- Faces and equpment: done -- Original Tour of Germany '08: done -- Secondary sponsors: done -- Petacchi will take care of the values until the end. --

P&A DB 08: Available now!

Readme for the installation of P&A DB 08:
0. Install PCM 08 and the latest patch (1.0.2.3).
1. Unpack the file "PA_DB08_pcmfolder.rar" to your mainfolder of the PCM, for example "X:\..\Pro Cycling Manager 2008\".
2. Delete the folder "Pro Cycling Manager 2008" under My Documents. If it doesn't exist, it doesn't matter.
IMPORTANT: Before you do this backup Savegames, custom colors, startlists, ... or they will be lost!!!!!
3. Start the game and change your settings like the resolution. After that quit the game.
4. The folder under My Documents should have been created again. Then you can unpack the file "PA_DB08_MyDocuments.rar" to that folder.
5. Start the game, choose the db und play it.
The easiest way to play with our db is to reinstall the game.
We made startlists for the Giro and the Tour, both in two variants, with and without doper.
To play the startlists you have to call them "France - Grand Tour.xml" or "Supergiro di Italia.xml"
Abbrevations:
_dop = with doper
_antidop _ without doper

I found a mistake, which crashes the game by playing a timetrail. Here is the fix:
-> Mirror 1 - Mirror 2
I also checked the skins again and found some erros, too. So I uploaded all skins in a seperate package:

!!!IMPORTANT!!!
Savegames aren't lost!!!
Open your savegame with the HannesConverter and load the table STA_equipment. Search for the entry Bell Meteor II (ID: 244) and delete the last underscore in the column gene_sz_nomenclature. Now the entry is Helmet_Bell_Meteor. Then you can save everything and your savegame stays usable.

We found another problem, the game crashes in front of the TdF 09 (in career mode). There are two possibilities:
1. Download the update-pack again: https://rapidshare.com/files/179851954...update.rar.
or
2. Go to the directory "X:\...\Tour de France - Saison 2008\CM_Stages\variant". Here have to be 20 files which are called "v4_top_france_grandtour_stage_xx.xml". Cut and paste them to the folder "X:\...\Tour de France - Saison 2008\CM_Stages".
