No not really !!!

Come one guys. You are hoping he's death!
Are you fucking humans at all?
Man is still a father, amazing athlete from bad era with terrible bulling attitude (last one is reason I dont like this guys).
I recommend for you reading at least one book at this era.
Almost always the same...
Young talent will come to the pro team. They let him fight and suffer 2 first years. Then he will find out..options:
1. First take recovery shots, then cortison, epo to keep up with these guys.
2. Keep fighting ..maybe you can win someday stage or one day race (never GT).
3. Leave the sport

Yeah, because professional cycling is only way to make a living in these days...nobody forces you to take stuff. And if they do, you have the option to say no, or you are becoming a fraud without any moral integrity. So leaving the sport is the only good thing to do (or accept that you wont win biggest races).

I dont wish him death though, i dont wish it for anybody. But if he forces health issues to himself with drugs, it is karma and he deserves it.

Armstong is a funny one.

He is the reason I got into cycling back in the late 90's/early 2000's. I remember watching Indurain and Pantani with my dad in the early 90's but was probably too young to appreciate it properly.

I don't think it's the drugs alone that is the problem with Armstrong. Many took drugs during that time and are still idolised.

The problem with Armstrong is that he built himself up to be some kind of Saint while knowing full well it was all a lie, and using cancer as an excuse the whole time. He was happy to take the millions of dollars on offer at the time so must accept the backlash now.

I agree with Guido that drugs were endemic at the time at it probably was a case of take drugs or give up. But don't take drugs and then fabricate a whole story to make you the biggest athlete in the world and then whine when it all gets taken away.

I don't wish any harm on him. Just wish he'd gracefully step out of the limelight and go away.

question. Do you know with 90% what you would have done at the same 90's and next century pro cycling?
That was rare that someone managed to keep away from doping..guys like Monqoutie should be more admired has they managed to keep himself clean.
I would have doped. Smile I know myself that much.
Because it was that easy at 90's ..they caught riders mostly because they find riders or teams or wives with drugs in their fridge, car's , bags

I know that i am a person who does not try to gain a benefit on expense of other people. I know it is easy to be afraud and make ton of money easily by hurting others and trespassing the laws. And i am not doin that, so why i would have done it back then.

That was last year. Came back 8 months later (Sept. 2016) but has only finished 1 of the 8 races he competed in. A look at his PCS page says enough.
