Don't know if there is already a thread for this. Sorry if so!
I'm currently making a personal DB with some 00s legends. I need ur help to one specific rider. George Hincapie in his glory US Postal days. And remember, this DB is mixed with current riders stats (world DB 2017). I remember he was a good at the cobblestone classics but also a world class helper..
So do you have any suggestions for some good realistic stats?
“When it’s hurting you, that’s when you can make a difference”
My suggestion: Monster support stats. High FL in the 78-81 range. CB between 78-80. MO/HL not more than 73/74. Relatively low SP and ACC.
George was very much a do everything rider. His speciality was Classics but could pull up a few early climbs better than most.
You'd be best picking a specific year and trying to stat around that, rather than over his whole career where he could be a bit up and down and unfocused.
this is the only one i dont agree
he started as a sprinter and was good even in later years just didnt sprint in bigger races because then usually he was working for someone else
see his results in 1999 it was the only year he wasnt working for anyone in the 1st week. it was before lance showed he could win the tour
hincapie sprinted in all the first week sprints and was top 10 in all
The low SP was as a compensation against having a lot of other good stats. As he was less of a sprinter than most other things, makes sense to lower that one out of the main stats. Especially if we took, say, his BMC years where he really wasn't a good sprinter
