Okay so the bulk of my work since the release has been focused on getting these right, and right now I'm really happy with where they are. The focus is to have the right xml set for the PCM.Daily release, so they will not fit perfectly with the games original database.
As such I have some notes for the DB makers:
-Not expecting any current rider to have a stat >83, though it would probably be fine in Martin was higher in TT or Quintana in MO.
-All riders should be given a potential reflective of their prime (exception for Andy Schleck who honestly isn't going to be the same ever again).
-Potential 8 is reserved for the ultra-elites, Armstrong, Mercx etc. I'll also be working to fix the STA_Regions part of the DB to ensure those riders are incredibly rare.
-Fixed Fighter stat, probably not perfect, but allows for riders to have realistic fighter stats now.
Also as a note here are the stat ranges (for primary stat).
84-85 : Pot 8
81-83 : Pot 7,8
78-80 : Pot 6,7
76-77 : Pot 5,6,7
74-75 : Pot 4,5,6
71-73 : Pot 3,4,5
68-70 : Pot 2,3,4
60-67 : Pot 1,2

They should work great in PCM 13 (and older versions as well)!

So basicly you are making the new riders coming into the game more realistic in stats with this ?
A question
Will some riders have really good stats as young, but not reach much more potential from there, and the other way around some riders have low stats as young, but really climb in stats trough their career.

The examples probably answer that how you like, ultimately yes there is a chance a rider could get a bad stat early, and have lots of room to improve, there is also the chance that the rider may not be able to improve past a couple of points.

Updated the file to now also include a set of XMLs for the Spanishbase DB.
All the new files change from the files I had for PCM.Daily is lowers the potential values for riders since their base riders have lower attributes.

Great work for that Spanishbase DB.
Strangely the file name in this tread is not the same as in the thread of th Spanishbase DB. But I think it is the same file, right? |

@ Lachi; probably, my guess is they are just using the Spanishbase part of the file. (which is good, less confusion that way)
@ Dusan; All this new file does is adds a second folder with the Spanishbase version, there were no changes to the PCMDaily version.

Sorry if this is stupid of me. But there haven't been any database from PCMDaily yet as for as i know. Not that i have any plans on doing it, but if i would want to, i could play with your xml files in the original database right? |

@Kent (or someone else with knowledge),
I'm very close to have all my pieces in place to start a career in PCM14.
In your opinion, what is the most realistic evolution of attributes setting? |

I downloaded PCM Focus | FDB14 v1.0 which is best at this moment but their stats and riders potential is tottaly crazy. I pasted stats from Adamb's database so stats are pretty good but after carrier start everybody have crazy potential (not in database but in rider card - the stars). Everybody have 5 stars on flat attrib. So my question is: Yours xml's are rsponsible only for youngsters stats or for "potential stars" adult riders also? |
