France - Its got a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi
Firstly, thanks for the congrats on the Giro, now i just need to get in the team!
Tomorrow is the start of the Criterium International, a 3 day race, with a sprint, tt and mt finish.
I will get targeting the third stage, as will most of the team. Apart from Burke, Thomas and Ivan its a climbers team. Peter, Jan, Egor and Niki are all there with me.
I was in Paris two days ago for Smirnoff. Another classic party! Great fun, if not the best way to prepare for a race.
On the subject of the Giro, i did spend a few days practicing some of the climbs. Every one wants a race spot, but thats 25 for 9, it doesnt work. There's a few races in April and they will be the decider.
First though its the Crit Int. I want a stage win, but its a good field...
Any way must dash, got a team meeting...
....
Damn, im already late!

Criterium International - Part 1
Stage 1
Today was a flat stage, just needed to stay in the peloton.
Staying in the peloton was easy, but the peloton was not the place to be.
A break made it to the finish! Van Zandbeek out did Hardy on the line. Casper won the bunch sprint 20" later.
Stage 2
The itt, short but even so i wasn't confident. C.Meyer beat Hepburn and Kadri to win. I limped home in 80th, 35" down.
The final stage is my target. However;
S.Sanchez and Rolland will be in the way...
Wish me luck, ill let you know how it goes
