Which bike should i choose?

Hey fellow Pcmdaily members.
I decided that i'm in need of good carbon bike.
I found 4 bikes that i like, and i was kind of hoping someone of you could give me some advice 
Bike 1: http://www.fribik...gear.aspx.
It's cheap, and got the triple crankset that am after.
Cost: 14.900 kr = 2000 euro

The trek bike have some smart designs, and is the cheapest.
Cost: 12.000 kr = 1610 euro

The gears, components and frame on this bike should be very good.
Cost: 14.000 kr = 1880 euro

Am in love with this bike. The gears, frame and wheels - it all. Will also love to try other gears than shimano, and this on comes with Campagnolo
Cost: 15.000 kr = 2015 euro
I can find good things I like in each of the bikes. Hope someone can help me out - Thanks  |

Personally, as a fellow danish citizen, I would advice you to take a trip to Ribe, and visit Ribe Cykellager. I bought a bike there 2 years ago, on sale, it costed 10.000DKK, put down from 16.000DKK, I tried it, and selected every accesory I wanted on the bike, and took it with me on the same day.
I would also strongly suggest to try the bikes before buying anything. Buying over the internet, I assume you would not be able to do that, but, you can of course visit a bike store, try it, and then buy it online.

Sounds nice, I have been visit the Ribe Cykellagers website i believe. And i totally agree with you on the trying the bike before buying it. All of the websites i link has a store i think. I bike number 4 website has a store in Aarhus were i live so  |

I bought a carbon bike last year. I tried a Merckx, a Pinarello, a Wilier and a Trek.
I didn't like the Merckx. I'd always wanted a Pinarello but didn't like the Campag gears (they were very noisy with a noisy freewheel) and don't like the curly forks. I liked the Trek and the Wilier but the Wilier was too twitchy for me - I felt like I'd be fighting it all the time, whereas the Trek was rock solid.
I bought the Trek - a 5.2 Madone. I wish I'd gone for a triple but other than that it's been excellent. It's not as nice looking as the Wilier but the ride is great.
I'd give them a try if you can. |

That is some awesome bikes mate. You are gonna kill the Swiss mountains with the bike you choose. Number 4 is good too.
But like the other dane said, find a good and trustworthy cykelhandler who are willing to give top service + a bit of discount since you are gonna buy what in general is a relatively expensive bike.
Furthermore is your old one now for sale then ?  |

Don't buy Trek, Armstrong is rich enough already. Plenty of other brands around.

Thanks for great advice.
Tomorrow i'm going to 3 local cykelstores and trying out some of the bike.
For now i'm mostly into bike 4, the Wilier. But i'm going to ride the other bikes, just to be totally sure
Could imaging the Trek is pretty cool as well
Hah, or the Swiss mountains gonna kill me, Ybodonk?
I'm planning on using my old bike as a winterbike and for transportation.
Is a fine bike, but nothing more than that
Is close to this model http://www.billig...735p.html. Paid 6000 kr for it i think.
So i guess you bike easily is better

Going to steal this thread a bit with a quick question.
How much of a difference is between cycling on a carbon bike and an aluminium?
I'm looking to buy my first bike, and don't know if it's worth the money to get a carbon bike. |

When I test rode carbon bikes I couldn't believe how much quicker they accelerated.
I bought one, did my normal ride and went 10% faster. |

If it's your first bike, you should probably go for aluminium during a couple of years and change later. Use carbon only if you do competitions (they're less comfortable, much stiffer, etc.).
Mine i some sort of hybrid, the forks are in carbon, as well as the joints between the tubes (they form some sort of cage around the tubes), but the tubes are in aluminium. Decent compromise I'd say.
