I've got a couple of problems in career mode.
1# Each time I start a career mode game, I get financiel problems because, probably, the staff that's allready signed have pretty high salaries.
Therefor I've tried to fire them right away and sign staff with lower salaries.
Yet, I lose pretty much money because I dont win much races and the amount of money the staff gets when they sign is also pretty high.
2# When I'm in red numbers, I get a message that if I'm still in red at the end of the month the team will go broke, but nothing happens to the team and I can keep on racing and signing cyclists, not that I'm doing that, but I can.
3# At the start of a new season, the sponsor doesn't give any money.
Is that normal in cycling? (I play Football Manager and football is probably different then cycling when it comes to sponsors...) |

Nothing changes with the budget, each month I just lose money because of salaries.
I've got 1.3.0.0 update and Real Name DB for Patch 1.3.0.0.

1) Set the difficulty at the start of the career if you want more money. Also install the latest patch and start a new career.
2) If you are in red, then you cannot prolong the contract with your riders and you cannot search new sponsors. That is far worse then going bankrupt.
3) I do not understand. The sponsor does pay monthly. This includes January also. Look in the game how much the sponsor budget is.

Now I see, I've taken a better look at my finances.
I've to pay salaries (staff+riders): € 58.000
While my sponsor pays me monthly: €45.000.
What makes me wonder. Why, if I start a new game, do the staff that are employed, probably by the game itself because they are different each time I start a new game, have such high wages.
Only one thing I can do about it is, fire my staff and hire new cheaper ones. What costs me lots of money before I've even started. |

Does the new patch work with a career created before it came out or do i have to start a new career? |

This is what Eyolfur said about it:

@SuperboerKoen: a workaround is to raise your balance back to normal with an editor (DYN_manager -> finan_i_solde).
