Moahaha.
You're evil.
So next year we'll know your true identity: the winner of TDF

Tony Martin will ride for OPQS' Vuelta team. Rest of the lineup: Dario Cataldo, Kevin De Weert, Serge Pauwels, Frantisek Rabon, Gert Steegmans, Niki Terpstra, Zdenek Stybar and Kristof Vandewalle

That's a pretty impressive team, they could get some stage wins, I reckon. I wonder where De Weert will end up in the GC.

I even forgot to put Stybar up there.

Same here.
So glad that Stybar finally decided to fully concentrate on the road instead of cross (he's a great cross rider, though, but I like him more on the road!)

I guess it's maybe the first time two Czechs start a Grand Tour on the same team

It's a team that will haunt for stage wins
OPQS didn't have great Giro ( Cataldo was the only highlight there ) and very forgettable Tour. 3rd time lucky maybe ?
I can see Terpstra and Stybar that could win a stage ( anyone of them could - but they are the most likely ones ). They have a solid chance of doing very well in TTT. Cataldo should be their GC along De Weert but I can't see them in Top 10 in GC.

I think Martin is the most likely stage winner (the individual tt), no? |

Martin has a big shot, yeah.
Maybe Steegmans, too, I don't know.

Steegmans has a chance. There aren't many sprinters I can think of in the Vuelta. In fact, I can't think of any.
Winner of American Championship races which I can't remember since my sig was deleted :L

Degenkolb, Rojas, Ventoso, Bennati, Swift, Breschel, Davis, Dean...
All of those beats Steegmans in a sprint if you ask me. He is far from as good as he used to be in his glory days.

Yeah but with Steegmans you never know.
I'm not saying he'll win for sure, but don't be forgetting about him either

Can't agree more - he would have a better chance to win from a break if you ask me, although there aren't really any of the absolute top class sprinters.
I would love to see Degenkolb win a stage |

I'd be very surprised if Steegmans comes anywhere near a stage win, at least in a bunch sprint. His only non-TTT Top 5 result this year was in Qatar on the stage where the field was blown to pieces by the wind. Finished fifth after leading out Boonen from a group of five.
Degenkolb has a great opportunity in Barcelona, where the finish is uphill. I see him winning there, plus possibly also in La Lastrilla.

Is this the same finish the Tour(2009) had a few years ago? That really was a great finish!!!
edit: just looked it up myself - it seems to be nearly the same at least

The finish is right outside the Olympic arena if I'm not mistaken. They're not finishing at the top of Montjuic, but at least they're climbing all of it once and then finish about halfway up. Perfect for guys like Degenkolb, Rojas and Ventoso.
