Wow. Mresuperstar lost that trade bad Home team bias killed him there
Stafford probs gets injured and misses 2 weeks plus. Has he even had a healthy season ever?

You can all laugh now, just like you all did last when I traded away Cruz, but we will see who got the better trade when I win the Championship.
Stafford has a better O-Line this year and last time I checked the Lions still have Megatron and absolutely no running game. I don't plan on using Jacobs that much unless he gets the red zone carries for the 49ers. I will problem play Floyd in the Flex spot most of the season.
On paper Schiano Surprise might have got the better deal with F. Jackson and Alex Smith moving into his QB spot, I can't see him starting RG3 as who knows he could easily be a bust.
As I see it, it's a win-win for both teams.
Edit: Stafford played all 16 games last year as well, his title as injury prone isn't relevant now that Lions have put effort into protecting him.

You have to hope for a F. Gore injury or at the least 1-yard TD's for Jacobs. But Fred Jackson is just a beast and a good running back is hard to come by, as I saw last year.

Don't remind me about the Steven Jackson thing
My best RB was Ben Tate last year

Do have to agree that it's a win win. Purely because I had Smith & Stafford in a 20-team league which is crazy, in exchange for a huge weakness at RB.
Jackson solves that, off-setting the loss of Stafford (I agree with you, he is a top 5 Fantasy QB this year) and while I would have avoided drafting RG3 in any league due to it being such a huge boom-bust pick, with the solid mid-range play of Smith it's a can't refuse risk on my part in that trade to add Jackson while still, at worst, having two starting QB's which not every team in our league has the luxury of.
Mind you, if the owner of Joshy 'formerly of the 'Fro' Freeman would rather have RG3's upside, I'll willingly make a 'homer' trade of my own, straight. |

Brandon Jacobs is on the trading block. I'm looking for a straight up trade for a WR that has better value because RB are hard to come by in a 20 team league. Sure Jacobs isn't a starter but many experts are predicting he will get the majority of the goal line carries for the 49ers which should translate into plenty of touchdowns. Send in your offers.
