I count 9 mountain finishes, most of them the kind of short sharp stage that's usually exciting.

Wiggins and Sky did what he had to do to win, time trial up every mountain and blow them away in thr TT's. Boring yes but played to his strengths to perfection so well done
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die |

Nibali did a good time trial if you have in mind he can't pedal as agile as he would with his right calf problems. |

Now finally Froome will have the chance to show what he can do as the team leader in the Vuelta. The battle with Contador will show if he really is that amazing climber.
Rest in Peace Wouter Weylandt and Xavi Tondo

So...Jurgen Vandenbroeck works all year to do good in the Tour and nowhere else and finishes 10 minutes down as 4th. Is it really worth it?
Nibali loses with almost the same margin he lost to Contador in the Giro last year. And with the latter coming back next year and Froome also clearly superior I don't see how Nibali will ever win a TDF. He'll do better to focus on the Giro/Vuelta... but that goes for 90% of the top 10 TDF contenders (yes including Gesink, don't worry )

Actually I fully agree that this Vuelta seems designed with Purito in mind
Even the single TT has a major climb

He showed in the Giro that he knows how to peak right though. I'm pretty sure that he wont fail like last year. At least Top 5 overall.

There should be a 'Ligget and Sherwen quotes' subforum on here somewhere.

Half the TT is up the climb and down the other side
