So I loved the thread for PCM 11, so I have decided to make it for PCM 12.
You can talk about your career, general racing or basically anything to do with PCM, that is not online mode, I guess
I'll start by saying I have just started a FDJ career because of all the riders I like and Bouhanni just won stage 1 of the Tour Down Under. My goal is to have France the #1 cycling country again. My main signing targets are probably Coppel and Sylvain Chavanel. We'll see. I plan on sharing later on, as long as more people share their thoughts |

You should try and sign Pinot, considering how well he's doing
Well, I'm going to the Alpes for 3 weeks now, but when I'm back, I'll probably start a career with Team Europcar. I've already raced with them for 8 seasons on 11 (won Giro 3 times with Rolland) and that was very enjoyable.
So far I've raced with Lotto-Belisol and got a nice win in Paris-Nice on the last stage (excluding the TT) with Van Den Broeck! |

Change of mind, started with AG2R, should be interesting with Bardet and trying to do well with Roche!

That's exactly my plan, last year I made with Euskaltel a super Basque team, this year I am going to make a French mega great squad!
I will start as FDJ most probably as well..

I am with Europcar and is doing great so far. Just started and five competitions. Three of them, I won General, three of them mountain jersey, two of them points. Trying to make them as a Pro Tour team with all stars from the world. |

I started a career with a custom team . My plan was to get many super talented young riders and form a team like HTC (sprints,TT, and 1 week-tours) I have Guardini, Viviani, Kittel, Degenkolb , Ciolek , T.Martin , Malori , Ulisii , Gretsch . Moser , OSS ,etc . My ream has only ermans and Italians . I won 2 stages and the points jersey in STDU with Viviani and in san luis with Degankolb . my main goal : wstage win(s) in Giro as i will send Malori-Oss-GUADINI-vIvIANI and moser |

So i started a career with Endura, but i am struggling for results a bit so far. JTL won the stage at Tour of South Africa, but finished 2nd overall behind Schumacher, now these two will battle again at Istria spring trophy, quite hilly/mountainous stage- race.
Downing and Wilko grabed me some top 10s also.
I am still not sure with which team i will make some long career after all the patches.

have started a career with the An Post - Sean Kelly team. In Qatar, our best finish was 5th on a stage.
in South Africa (love the sense of humour of the programmer who decided to make it a target for Sean Kelly as a sponsor being Tour of South Africa. love it. if you don't know why, google it. maybe also include Il presidente's name in the search), we were 3rd overall with sean downey, 4th with pieter ghyllebert and 10th overall with bagdonas. 2 stage wins for bagdonas and 1 for johnny "mouldy" mould. the king of the mountains jersey went to connor mcconvey.
in strade bianchi, came 18th with connor mcconvey
in Le Samyn, came 3rd with nico eeckhout but the young legs of hincapie were just too strong
--
edit - forgot best part of south africa, i made a profit of €30,000. I also made a profit in strade bianchi of €125.

I'm going to start a career with Movistar and I'm currently doing the planning. Most probably, Valverde will go for Pais Vasco, the Ardennes and the Vuelta while Cobo tackles Catalunya and the Giro. Rui Costa will be my leader during the Tour, along with Quintana who'll go for white and either Intxausti, Kiryienka or Arroyo, who'll go for the polkadots (which is the sponsor's goal).
Ventoso will try to do well at MSR and the Tour while Rojas will ride the Giro and the Vuelta. I'm not sure what to do yet with Visconti. He'll probably lead us at one-week-races without mountains.
Any thoughts on that?

Visconti should definitely ride the Ardennes, he always seems to do well there for me. I would probably send him to the Giro too, he can get some nice results in his home tour. Then maybe peaking around the World Champs too.
I'm not sure what I want to do, maybe a GreenEdge career. I'll wait for the Daily DB though to make up my mind.

Playing witgh Euskaltel.
Nieve won in Oz with an attack on Willunga.
Seanchez won the Mediterean tour with only 65% starting fitness with an atatck on the last day.
I am a bit worried its too easy but actually they were the best riders in the race those days so it's realistic
Sanchez will peak for Vasco and France, Anton for the Ardennes and Spain.
Nieve will be no 2 in France and willl lead in the september and october races.
Txurruka will do his best in Italy.......
I was quite conservtaive about my fitness programmes although i have planned a lot of race days (just accepted the game's recommendations)

Great thread!
Interesting to see how you guys are planning out your career mode. Personally I'm thinking of giving Norwegian team Joker Bianchi a chance, but I can't figure out how the "Calender" feature on PCM 12 works properly. Does anyone know if I should request a wildcard for all the races in the seasen in early January, or is best to wait?
I have plaid PCM since 2008, but this is completally new to me!

great thread! I too started as FDJ-BigMat and have had some good successes, up until Milan San Remo, using CYM Spain DB on hard setting
Roux has been incredible for me in the early season, racking up 7 victories, including 2 stage wins in Paris-Nice as well as the Points jersey. He wiill start to rest a bit now before racing in the TDF.
Hutoravich has also had 5 wins and is looking good.
True to life, Casar has done alot of attacking, but is yet to have a victory! |

I started with aqua & sapone and now I realized that I need to restart everything since once you download the patch you have to restart your career for all the changes to take effect. I'm so pissed . |
