There's a difference between an all-rounder and someone who is just equally bad at everything

I wonder if Wiggins will get to start last so that he gets all of the time checks. We've paid £9bn for these games, we've got to be able to rig a gold medal somehow. |

I think Wiggens takes this, his form seems to be unstoppable right now, but I would put a close eye on Phinney, his 4th at the RR (which certainly isn't his strength) seems to give the idea he is in great form. He is rested compared to the several that rode the TDF also.

That's if you don't consider prologues as TT.

Could it be because prologues have little effect in the GC while longer TTs have a lot of effect (in Wiggins races this year)? Not saying that he puts different efforts in them Remember the same Cancellara that crushed Wiggins time in TdF prologue lost a minute to him on the longer one..

Prologues are shorter, with more curves (per km), etc. the risks you may want to take or not take have more influence there than on a normal TT. It's not worth risking a fall for a minor victory, when all you'd win or lose is one or two seconds.

Should be British time. My German live ticker says the starting time (for men) is 15:15, so 14:15 is British time.

There's no way Team GB can bottle it this time with Wiggins right? With Spartacus and Tony not 100% fit. I Hope Chava can make a big surprise
