Foreword: This will be my PCM 12 thread, and hopefully everything goes to plan and its my only PCM 12 thread. The story will take place when the 2012 db is released.
There will be some fun interactive features between the followers and the story, but I wont officially announce anything about that before the weekend. I wanted to get this thread out early, as I've been stressed about it and many other things, so maybe I can get a bit of relief from posting it now, and only stress about the other things
And just a small sidenote: Is it just me, or does the graphic remind you of Power Rangers?
(I do still think I've done a decent job with it)
Jan will be the teams best all-round rider. He is able to climb hills and mountains fairly well, and he is a capable TT rider as well. He is a former Czech U23 Champion so we know he is a strong rider and some of his other results also suggest this. We believe he is a late bloomer and could be winning some 2.HC Classics for us this season!
Bartosz Huzarski
Bartosz is a very strong rider, but not close to some of the strongest men, like Van Summeren or Cancellara! As well as being strong willed, he is also a very decent climber, and will be able to hunt down some Mountains Classifications, a realistic goal! Of all the races this year, his target will of course be the Tour de Pologne, but he will peak for an early season race most likely as well!
Leopold König
Konig is probably our best pure climber, and only adds to our Czech armada! He is a lot younger than Konig though, only 24, so he has a few years to improve still and of course he does have some promising years ahead of him! Konig has already had impressive results at races like the Tour of Britain and I think that as well as some Czech races would be his best chance at getting some wins this season!
Andre Schulze
Schulze is by far the teams strongest sprinter and along with Schorn he will be able to pick out some nice wins throughout the season, giving us a nice point boost no doubt! He will have the teams support for all sprint stages, being the top sprinter on the team, but you have to feel that age could be a factor in his future with the team, and many young German sprinters floating around, across the Pro and Pro Conti Tours, and even younger talents on Conti Teams like E-ON - Thuringer.
So what will the Fan Section consist of this season?
Well I have decided to make this thread as interactive as I can, I think it makes it more fun for me, and all of my followers!
The Fan Section will be a ranking of points, which will be awarded to members in various ways, which I will tell you, now over the course of the whole season (I will award many points near the end, so that it is possible to make a comeback as long as you try)!
The first and most exciting way that you will score points in this fan section is through Player Sponsoring! It is a feature I have adopted after I was going through the Fifa Forums and saw it was a popular way to get everyone involved! How it works is users can pick cyclists from my team, and they will gain points depending on how well that rider does throughout the season, thats it, there is no work or commitment on your part after you have picked your rider! A rider can only be picked once, so it is first come first served when it comes to giving away riders for Sponsoring! (More rules can be seen below about sponsoring)
However if you miss your chance on a rider, or even if you already have one, there are more ways to gain points! There will be trivia questions, periodically, which can help you earn points towards the overall ranking which will be added up for the whole season, so dont ever give up. The trivia can be basic questions, just generally being active (although posts will not be counted up, it is about quality not quantity) all the way to guessing specific riders in guess the cyclist games, and even guessing possible transfer signings for the next seasons. For the trivia questions, the exact point output will be posted on each separate trivia question, as they will vary, but it should become more clear, once we have the first one!

100 Points for a CT Stage Win (CT meaning all levels of the Conti Tour, whether it be 2.HC or a 2.2 Race)
50 Points for a PT Stage Podium
25 Points for a CT Stage Podium
1000 Points for a PT GC Win
300 Points for a CT GC Win
200 Points for a PT Sprint, KoM or U25 Jersey
150 Points for a CT Sprint, KoM or U25 Jersey
*note, Team Results do not count for this competition!
And if you have any questions about the scoring please ask! I will not be adding any more ways to score thru sponsoring, or else it would be too time consuming on my part, sorry.
So how it will all work is that now, based on these rules you will pick a rider that you think will get you the most points in this competition to hopefully win!
You can select a rider from the list below, and they can only be picked by one user, and you will have this rider for the whole season, so chose wisely.
(Riders reset at the end of the season, so season 2 you will not have the same rider as Season 1, unless you are lucky enough to pick them again in time.)

Nice to see a story about a german team. I played a career with Netapp in Pcm11, they are a fun team to play with and I am sure you will make a great story out of it! I' m curious to find out more about the interactive features - sounds like a nice idea! But you have to get a Giro invite that would be cool
btw I like the intro graphic - hopefully your riders will be as strong as the power rangers

tsmoha, Thanks a lot! Its great to see you again! I was maybe a bit wrong but definitely reminds me of the Red ones all together. I used to watch that show as a kid. Even the fake punching was probably better than half the acting jobs in todays Nickelodeon and Disney stuff to be fair
