Game crashes when loading stage

I have just downloaded the game from steam and whenever i try to play a stage the game crashes a message pops up saying the game has encoutered a problem and needs to close. can anyone help? |

Go on to steam and verify game cache

well thanks for trying. I meet all the sytem requirments and i had no problems with pcm 2011 so i really don't know what it could be. |

At what point does it crash? On loading the 3D environment or before? If the latter, have you added any custom DBs?

It crashes when it says stream read on the loading bar and i haven't installed any custom dbs. I updated my drivers, lowered the graphics and reinstalled a couple of times and it still keeps happening. |

I think it has to do with the video driver. You should use a program http://driveragen..._step1?r=8 to see if they are up to date. You can also email cyanide support, they are actually helpful. You can also go to their technical FAQ www.cyanide-studi... that is helpful as well. |

Weird problem keeps occurring, just after a stage failed to load up in Armada mode. Now all of a sudden my game crashes when I try to load my Europcar Tour de France stage race save. I had this problem with a previous Movistar save, I havent even played a stage.
The game also crashed after the game in Armada mode failed to load.
Anyone know what could be causing this to happen, thanks

I am still getting this error everytime i load any stage it crashes im emailing support but they take a day to respond every time i reply. Has anyone else had this problem? i updated my drivers and directx but it didn't help. |

I am also having issues with the game crashing during the 3D race. I have my copy through steam and have installed the patch, but still no luck!
My System:
Win7 64bit, Intel 3.3ghz, 8gb RAM and 2 x ATI HD Radeon 6870 1GB (crossfire)
I believe my system meets the minimum requirements and have adjusted the graphics options!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Have also emailed so will see what they come up with. |

Im getting the same thing! the game finally arrived today, and I cant play it 
what have cyanide said about it?

I don't think they know how to fix it at the minute they keep telling me to try different things and none of them have worked yet. It might help if they replied to my emails a bit quicker. |

I was asked by cyanide to send a copy of the game log. If you are sending them an email yourself save time by attaching a copy. It is located in: My Documents, Pro Cycling Manager, then select the Procycling Manager Text file.
I sent mine off today, hopefully get a result..... |

@kirtley9 My game was doing the same thing. It kept crashing at "stream read". I e-mailed PCM support and they said that my graphics controller is not supported because it is too slow. Hopefully this is not your problem.

I have the exact same problem. Bought the game but it crashes during stream read before loading a 3d race. Ridiculously amateur that problems always occur in connection with release of especially PCM. |
