Wow.. 9th way above my expections
Looking forward to 2013.. that will be an insane TDF imo..
With contador back in the saddle, andy schleck, wiggins to continue and froome probably as captain for a different team. Nibali probably even stronger than this year, same with Van Garderen, maybe evans gets his shape back..
TDF 2013.. cant wait for it.:
They have this great beer here in England, I really love it. Its called Pint.

13th. Can't help but being a bit dissapointed in that after I was 1st for quite some time. 5 stages in a row or such. But I had my team built around the sprints, and in the end I picked the wrong GC guy for the task. Otherwise I would have been safely inside op 10.
Looking back on what I have done in recent games though, this is FAR better than I could have ever hoped. Looking forward to the Vuelta to see if I can pick better there. I don't think I can though, as I basically don't know enough about riders at a lower level than the Tour.

Damn. Out of Top 5 in the final update.
Well, I made a few good picks in Wiggins, Sagan, Froome, Greipel, Boasson Hagen and Kessiakoff. Vanendert and Mollema were a waste of points though. I wish I had picked Rolland and Pinot instead, for the same amount of points. Then I'd have been on the podium for sure.

Happy, with 11th, considering the I had Gesink, Martin and Coppel.

Frank Schleck didn't really pay off and why did Cancellara have to see his baby being born |

Top quarter respectability here.
Obvious highs - Wiggins, Sagan
Less obvious highs - Sorensen, Greipel (maybe slightly less obvious ), Van Garderen
Flops - Hoogerland, Gesink
Might have been different - Martin (oh but for a mechanical and a crash...), Chavanal (did alright but was in great form until sickness then subsequent abandon)
Next year - don't pick Gesink and don't hesistate to overload the team with one type of rider if it favours them - e.g. Martin and Cancellara would probably have been a good idea this year, not withstanding Martin's rotten luck.

Well here is my fantasy history, you can have a look where everyone else came too: -
Le Tour 2010 - 52nd
Classics 2011 -1st
Giro 2011 - 51st
Suisse 2011 - 17th
Tour 2011 - 47th
Vuelta 2011 - 36th
Classics 2012 - 30th
Giro 2012 - 43rd
Tour 2012 - 29th
Clearly I was doped for the Classics 2011 season (that and only 19 of us entered!), but steady improvement in the GTours - targetting top 20 for the Vuelta!
This year's follies were Venandert, Poels and Simon (and Evans a bit too)

My team has changed sponsors from Vuelta 11.
Nike Pro Cycling -> Vuelta 11
Team Nike - Edge -> Paris Nice and Tirreno 12
Team Edge -> Classics 12
Team Edge - Nike -> Giro and Tour 12
I also went from Pickles to Pickles312 as I for some reason use my PCM username instead of my Daily one.
