Hi all,
I've made a database which is compatible with the newest patch. Before downloadling make sure that you've installed the newest patch.
Features:
- Correct names (riders, teams, sponsors, races)
- Correct shirts for the 22 teams which had a wrong shirt
- 135 riderphoto's (all World Tour teams now have a picture, Androni as well)

Wanne play with changing sponsors? Download this version of the database and every year there will come new teams:

Installation:
1. Download the file and extract it to your desktop
2. Place the 3 folders inside in the main folder of PCM (C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012)
3. In the map Database, select the Local and copy it to C:\Users\Yourusername\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2012 BUT DON'T REMOVE IT FROM THE ORIGINAL FOLDER, JUST MAKE A COPY!
4. If you wanne play with changing sponsors, download the LDP_Normal_Contact database and place it in Documents/PCM 2012/Mods/Database

Game setup is around 30% over here, but after the game and patch installation, this DB will definately be the next. Thanks!

Errors? The PCM Benelux Realname Database aint mine, I made the PCM Benelux 2011 Database, but this one aint mine. |

Why have you made the "end of contract" as 2099 for every sponsor? Many users on my site are complaining about it?

Because of the fact that the sponsors are fake.
But if people like it to be like it was in the original database, i will make next time 2 versions (one with normal contracts, one with contracts till 2099).
But for now you can maybe share this with your users, the contract endings have been reset (to the original):

I think that the main folder of the game is in here. So just place the 3 maps in the folder of PCM here instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Season 2012 |

I posted this in the downloads thread but realize I should have probably posted it here:
Sorry I'm a bit of a newbie to this stuff - do I overwrite the existing folders (Gui, 3D, Database) with the three folders downloaded/extracted? I don't really understand step 3...

Yes, you overwrite them (actually they'll be merging, instead of overwriting, and the files with the same name will be overwriting). What you need to do in step is go in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM12/Database (the place you installed it), copy the file "Local" and paste it in My Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2012 (but make sure that you're copying the file, not cutting or something else).

hi im at my third season with you first db and have contract to 2099 can i reset that ingame somehow becouse i dont wanna start a new game

Yes if you open the database with an editor and go to DYN_sponsor there you can edit the durations of the contracts. In DYN_team you will also find which team is linked with which sponsor.
Nice to hear also that you are already in your third season, glad you enjoy it! |
