Nice work Cactus Jack. Last year i tried something similar with cm 2010 but in 2040 the presentation of new routes caught up with the actual races causing crashes, and also the last 5 years if i changed more than two things a day (reservation of a race , changing training) the game crashed)
My question !do you experience' any hindering from the length of your career ?

I have no hindering what so ever, except for certain things being a bit slow. Viewing the rider profile aswell as the "Archives" usually takes between 5-6 seconds, but this is something I do very rarely.
Remember, I haven't played a single stage so far because I want to watch it "evolve" completely without any human interference.
I'm sorry for waiting so long with updates, but I'm working on the 2033-season. While you wait, is there any information you want? For example; which nation has the most Roubaix-wins, who has won the French Championship, etc.?

I'd like to see wich nations have the most wins for all the monuments (MSR, PR, Flanders, LBL, Lombardia) if it's not too much trouble. |

I'll see if I can compile some info on the major monuments. I am allready keeping stats for the GTs when it comes to number of wins per nation. I might start doing the same with the other races aswell.
PS: Yippi for post number 1500!

The first update in a long, long time! I have finished the 2033-season and I will give a summary in a matter of days. I've also compiled statistics regarding the number of wins per nation in both the World Championships aswell as the 5 Monuments.
First: The Word Championships.
| WC ITT | WC RR | Total | | USA | 2 | 2 | 4 | | NED | | 2 | 2 | | BEL | 3 | 5 | 8 | | ITA | | 5 | 5 | | RUS | 4 | 2 | 6 | | ESP | 1 | | 1 | | LUX | | 1 | 1 | | GB | | 1 | 1 | | GER | 4 | 1 | 5 | | AUS | 1 | | 1 | | NOR | | 1 | 1 | | POL | 2 | 1 | 3 | | CAN | | 1 | 1 | | SWI | 4 | | 4 | | SWE | 2 | | 2 | | AUT | | 1 | 1 |

It's kinda funny that after 23 years not a single Belgian has been able to win the LBL.

Funny thing, after 23 season France only has one win in the Vuelta (which hardly counts), the same number of GT-wins as both Latvia and Lithuania. Finland on the other hand has 4 wins in the Tour, all of which belong to Aleksander Kupiainen.

I am considering doing the same thing when it comes to the other WT-races. It would be a fair amount of work, but it might be nice to have something else to do while I'm simulating.

As we've seen several times before, the French kick of right from the bat and won the first two WT-races of the season. However, as fashion dictates, this would also prove to be the only highlight for them.
The spring-races didn't give us much as far as surprises are concerned with Joris Mittermeier picking up wins in both Milan-Sanremo and Gent-Wevelgem and Xavier Paradis bringing home the Canadian Bacon in both Catalunya and Pais Vasco. What did surprise us however was newcomer Uadson Valmerino from Brazil winning Ronde Van Vlaanderen aswell as Sam Davis from Australia winning Paris-Roubaix. These races have in the past been dominated by only a handfull of riders so it's nice to see some new faces emerging.
The Ardenne-classics have proved to be a handfull. 8 times has someone been able to win two out of three races, but no one has ever won all three in the same year. This was to change, as Toni Roth wrote his name in the history books by coming first in Amstel Gold Race, La Fleche Wallonie and Liege-Bastogne-Liege. A fantastic season for him since he would also go on to win in Lombardie later on.
The Giro d'Italia was a close contested battle, but as usual an Italian rider came out on top, this time it was Alessio Lella who could celebrate his 2nd Giro-win. Also in the Tour de France did we see a familiar face on the top of the podium. Aleksander Kupiainen won his 4th Tour. He is to this date the only rider with 4, putting him right in the middle between such greats as LeMond and Bobet (three wins each) and Indurain, Hinault and Merckx (all with 5). The Tour has been a dismal place for the French, having not won it since Hinault in 1985. Things did take a small turn for the better this year with 3 french riders in the Top 10 something which hasn't happend in over 20 years.
One rider however who won't be happy about the though, is Moises Aguila. Having taken home several wins in both the Giro and Vuelta he still lacks the Tour. He tried two years ago only to finish second, but now he was back in France. Things didn't go any better for him, the three-time Vuelta-winner finished a dissapointing 8th place more then 15 minutes behind the winner. Being 35 years of age, this might have been his last chance to win the Tour, thus making himself one of the few riders to have won all the GTs.
Having finished near the top of the podium several times, Luis Filipe Gois could finally take his place in the top step. Coming 2nd in the Giro aswell as winning the Vuelta is a great achievement, one that will surely be remember.
A special mention goes out to the Greek rider Antonis Rigaos who came out of nowhere to win both GP Quebec and the Tour of Beijing. He also came 2nd in GP Montreal. These are the first two wins by a Greek rider, showing us yet again that the Autumn can give many interesting results.

The only rider I could think of would be Caleb Ewan who starts at 17 in 2011. That would make him 39 in the game now, if he's still there.
