In America we don't see the swimming finals for another 6 hours
Sorry for that, I know that could have happened, but I never thought the US people wouldn't see that live
We see it in "Primetime" cause aparently more people watch it then |

Wow, that sucks. They could show it live and then in prime-time or something like that. I guess rating points is all that counts.

nice, I like some Olympics questions, but I think the ones with the time limit aren't such a good idea, because its kinda hard to find out now what happened in the time between then and now
Anyways I will send in my answers soon

I'm With Stupid
Season 3, Round 1 Evaluation (cio93)
QUESTION 1: Name an athlete competing in the Olympic track events who is under contract at a professional road cycling team.
Just one answer to be mentioned here, and that is Team Sky rider Geraint Thomas who received a whopping 32 votes!
Not many other options here, but take a look at the mentioned answers anyway:
QUESTION 2: Name an Olympic road race/TT winner from the 20th century.
Did people get there centuries mixed up here? Maybe, but not at the top of the leaderboard. Miguel Indurain received 17 votes, and Jan Ullrich received 8.
QUESTION 3: Name an athlete who has exactly two gold medals in this year's Olympics (as of now, 19:44 London time, so after Phelps' 3rd gold).
Again just 1 big answer. The only answers to receive more than 1 vote were all Americans. Swimmer Ryan Lochte got 27 submissions, gymnast Gabrielle Douglas got 5, and swimmer Rebbeca Soni got 2.
QUESTION 4: Name an European country without any medal so far in this year's Olympics (same time as Q3).
The answer to this question was hinted a few pages back, and penalty should have probably been taken, however, it will slide this time, and indeed it was the number one answer outstandingly. Portugal received 18 votes. The only other one with at least five is Switzerland with 5.
QUESTION 5: Name a rider that did not finish the Tour de France 2012 due to an injury.
There are 2 major answers for this last question, with almost exact points. Both got more than 10. Samuel Sanchez was number 1 with 15 votes, and Canadian Ryder Hesjedal was second with 11.
WE HAD MULTIPLE PERFECT ROUNDS IN THIS ONE, WITH 4 PEOPLE POSTING ONE.
Here are the round and season standings:
ROUND SUMMARY:

OVERALL STANDINGS:

Postponed this round due to the lateness of my results, will post them tomorrow
CIO93, YOU CAN NOW POST ROUND 2 QUESTIONS!!!
SEND ALL ANSWERS TO JSEADOG1
--Alerts will be sent out to those of you signed up after the next set of questions are posted!
