Great report btw. and congrats to Pozzato/Italy, great race to watch. I hope next year Ukraine will take part, because they are traditional cycling country, but that will need someone other than me also voting for them

Great report, Pozzato timed that perfectly.

Amazing report. The profile gave the idea it could serve as an excuse for a lame and boring mass sprint finish. Although mb really provided some great thrill with a very detailed and enthusiastic description of the key moments of the race, so thanks for that.
Congrats to Italy selectors for naming Pozzatto. Well it probably wasn't a hard choice but it proved to be the most correct. But to me the man of the race was clearly Bakelants what a luxurious domestique!

A rider I chose won Great that no pure sprinter won, but considering that a puncheur/sprinter guy won this, I feel we should go for a mountain WC or Sprint WC this year, we had a hilly one last year ;-)
Now we just have to see Phinney take the TT...

Interesting race - and well reported. Seems like the Brits lost out a bit on positioning, but 5th is pretty decent for Bellis.

But did you even answer when someone (don't remember who) asked about a Olympic champions jersey, would've been great imo (and it would fit the playboy of cycling to have one)

Oh yeah! I know he is only at my team on loan, but still this is an amazing effort, with Ulissi teammating him perfectly.
A great win, and the Olympic Jersey (if one exists) is at our claim for a couple of months. Nice!

If somebody makes a Festina Olympic jersey, I dont mind including it in the game. Or even a generic Olympic jersey I guess.

I can just add a bit extra gold and the olympic rings to your jersey, if you like
Awesome race. Got excited when I saw vaitkus near the finale, but Pozzato deserved that.

Amazing report, thank you mb!
And congrats to SotD, at least a little plaster after not-so-great Festina's season.
For Milka it wasn't the greatest possible race, but well without Bewley, my main hope is still Jerome Coppel in TT.

Very nice report, mb.
Pozzato was very strong. Can't be disappointed that an Italian won.

Not looking too good for Gesink. But Posthuma shows why he was selected to represent the Netherlands here.
Awesome reporting so far, CountArach!

Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it. Plenty of your riders there
Status update: It is now 2:20am and I have quite a bit of the race left to write. Good thing I don't start work until 12:30 tomorrow

Yes, I have quite a few riders. But I want Posthuma to do really well here because his place in the team was contested before the race.
And if you can get like 7-8 hours of sleep you shouldn't have problems tomorrow.
