Updated Stats 07/10 {Final Update-End of season} [DOWNLOAD]
Works with PCM.daily 2012 DB V2:
First install PCM.daily's 2012 DB V1
http://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=836
Second install PCM.daily's 2012 DB V2 Public Beta - V1 Update
http://pcmdaily.c...hp?did=842
Stats are based on 2012 season results. The point of my updated DB is to play realistic single races and classics. You can as well play career using my db because I adjust riders' potential to experience their development in the future.
Take a look at stats:
https://public.sh...07-10-2012
Click edit on blue background and sort by column you are interested in and see stats.
Download:
https://hotfile.c...2.cdb.html
or
http://www.speedy...0.2012.cdb
Startlist Pack (78 races, thx to pylarz for creating most of startlists):
https://hotfile.c...8.rar.html
or
http://www.speedy....08.18.rar
Next update: When necessary.
Note: You should tick random fitness in options, because I set rider's fitness so even though Gilbert is 83 HIL he will ride on the same level as Gasparotto HIL 78, Vanendert HIL 78 etc, Hesjedal will beat Sca/Bass in the mountains, Pinot will beat Evans etc, "nah-mean" .
PCM 2012 Updates - http://pcmdaily.c...d_id=23810
It takes me few hours to test those stats so feel free to comment and give feedback.
Enjoy!

It's pretty nice that you're doing these stat updates and sharing them with us, but I think it would be better if you kept it all in one thread and changed the title and first post of the thread upon the new updates.
Btw, I like how you give stats to the riders not only based on results, but on what you think is their real skill + their form (so Gilbert is the best in HIL but will ride Ardennes with bad shape in single race mode)

Thanks for comment, I will try to post all updates in this thread. |

i think giving Gilbert 2 points better hill stat than the rest is much generous, he is not above therest obviously. This is 2012 database, not who was best last year and Gilbert is not the best puncher in 2012. Nice to see Sagan stats updated in hills and endurance.
Still nice to have you doing this work, but rather wait for all the classics maybe, because some riders (Kreuziger, Nibali etc...) are not racing or saving themselves for L-B-L, so there is no need to lower their hill stat.

As I wrote in first post, despite his 83 HIL he will ride april's classics one the same level as 78 HIL Gasparotto. HIL stat is not the only thing that does matter in rider's performance. I'm sure when Gilbert is back in his best he won't have troubles to win hilly races. I tested this DB a lot of times and he finishes in first group but can't win. |

I understand, but what sense it has to give Gilbert minus form in March and April, when he should be on the top fitness. In real 2012 he sucked at his fitness peaks (March and April) and with the bonus fitness you gave him in later months he will be 84,85 again, and maybe he will suck even more than....
But nevermind i am playing with your stats as i like them in general, keep up the good work.

You can's say what will happen in the future, stats will be updated each month to enjoy the game and if Gilbert won't find his form then his stats will be decreased. |

Sure, but when i play career mode with the database, Gilbert will be at 80 hills in April and 84 in August e.g. which is funny. But is very good system for one-day classics. I appreciate your work anyway, it is good you are doing it.

The point of my DB is to play more realistic single races, if you play career then you should use PCM.daily 2012 DB. |

Exactly, he gives Gilbert the best HIL stat by far even if he hasn't showed it in 2012 so far, and then decreases Gilbert's form in March and April, just like it is in real life. Gilbert hasn't 'decreased', he just isn't in his best form this year (yet, since he's probably looking for the Worlds).
We had expected Gilbert to be in top form by now, but what is happening is that he isn't; that is reflected in this DB. But remember this will only apply to single races, not career mode.

PS: To make sure you have correct DB please re-download. Sorry for troubles.

I think we should wait for LBL and then make final corrections. (Mollema has a +2 fitness so he will race well) |
