How should Sky keep all these people happy? There are only 3 GTs, and if they get Brajkovic, there'll be even more people who will wish to lead a GT. Sky have too much money. It's not good for cycling. Brajkovic should be a leader at a team - no doubt. |

There are 18 pro-tour teams (+ teams like Europcar) - do you seriously think they all expect to win a GT? Many teams would be very happy with a top-5, something Brajkovic can do. If he didn't have his injury at the last time trial, he may have gained a place or two.

changing topics here, If the schlecks go to Astana, then they need to bring some of their loyal domestiques with them. Astana isn't that powerful of a team
Hoping Andy gets back on form... |

And u think he is able to be in a Top 5? He was 9 this year and dont forget that GESINK, MOLLEMA, SANCHEZ, HESJEDAL abandoned and Contador and Schleck werent there. So he was lucky. And about the other years:
2011 Vuelta a España 22
2010 Tour de France 43
2009 Giro d'Italia 18
Sorry but I cant really see him making a top 5 in a GT and maybe he neither and thats why he wants to be a super domestique at Sky.

Somebody who won the Dauphiné ahead of Contador can be top-5 in a GT.
Somebody of that level doesn't want to be a helper. They only would want that if you bribe them with a large amount of money. Which is no problem for Sky. Which is why they are bad for cycling. |

That's probably a good move for Breschel. I really hope he becomes the ciclist he was 2 seasons ago. I just don't wanna see him as a helper for Cancellara.

Check here my story with Qantas, the new Down Under hope:

Agree! Also hopes he'll be at the level he was before, even though a lot of the dicreasing level has come from injuries at very unlucky times.
If Cancellara eventually comes to Saxo Bank it would be a real shame for Breshcel, but again, he haven't had any results in the last two seasons that would indicate he is worth for a role as captain...

How Rogers have improved?
he was ok riders already at 2002. 2006 tour 9th..When he was Klöden wing man.Was forced to be T mobile leader after Klöden escape. Then bad luck...broken collarbone when he was first timke trained to be leader at tour..mono virus.
Later Tour California win, Andalucia tour win.
How he is improved?

Rogers has improved. I'm not sure, but I think he tweeted something like:"I'm pushing higher numbers than ever."
We all saw how strong he was at the Tour. Can't remember I ever saw him climb that well, at least not since 2006.

Davide Martinelli (born May 1993) will be joining Team Sky as a stagiaire - probably youngest rider in the WorldTour?
He is also son of Astana team manager Giuseppe Martinelli. He comes from the same team as Sky riders Appollonio and Puccio and his first start will be at Vuelta a Burgos.

Speaking of how Sky will share leadership of all those races...
Giro organizers unofficially admit that Wiggins is scheduled to ride next year.
"Hopefully in 2 years time I might win the Time Trial and be a credible Time Trial winner because I haven't beaten someone by 2 minutes."
- Bradley Wiggins a few years ago
"It's the Time Trial. The race against the truth!" - Phil Liggett, 2003 Vuelta |
