My country can be a horrible place.
Anyway, regardingpost count, I have at least 500 posts because of the Tour, approaching 2000. It took me 11 months to reach 1000.
Winner of American Championship races which I can't remember since my sig was deleted :L

Being a GCSE student, my exams didn't really have much effect.

Hey SN, I just thought, weren't Hillis and Mow supposed to buy you PCM 12, because you won the Tour de France Commentary Prediction Competition?
As for reaching 1000, I never thought I would get there. I used to be shocked that people could get even more than 1000 posts, but I quickly found out how it was possible (well I joined in April I think, but I didn't do much until my game stopped working and needed help in August. Then I think I became active around December 2009. )
Anyway, I bet I will be at 10,000 in a years time, although its not really some goal.

Talking about posts made me check my stats
I am not doing too badly there, but I never look at posts counts anyway. However, I had 2 months break from the site around Summer last year - so the post count suffered there badly
After my return - till now I think I have one of the highest average of 9 Posts/Day excluding CT and SN
And quite possibly, highest use of smileys per post than any other Daily user

Some usernames are misleading. I thought emre was Turkish, but he's French actually

Didn't even notice that I was over 5000 until I read this thread and checked my count!
Like most other members, I used to think it was really cool to have a high number. Especially in the first period after when I joined, but I eventually stopped caring. Hopefully that's a sign of maturing.

I actually found out I had over 4000 posts when I looked at the 4 stars under my avatar now. And I looked at Crue's post count for the first time, and I don't really know if I'm ever going to reach those numbers.

Aww, I'm just at around 3 a day. Working during the tour has really hurt my stats.
