Hi all,

This question has probably been asked hundreds of times, but I'm getting really confused by it so I need some help. Basically the situation is this:

-I have started a carreer with the 2012 Beta DB
-I have just downloaded and installed the 2012 Final DB update.
-The carreer still seems to be using the Beta DB, looking at the rider stats.
-I want to continue my carreer with the Final DB, so I won't have to start over. How do I do this?
-To the Final DB, I have made two slight stat alterations using the official editor. I want to import them in my carreer, along with the final DB. How do I do this?

Thanks for the help.

Changes are only affected when you start a new career. So it's natural that the career still uses the Beta DB.

You'd need some editing to 'import' the V1 into your career. It wouldn't be very easy. The much easier option would be to start a new career with the V1.

As for the stat changes: if you want a change to be reflected in a current save game, you need to edit the savegame (found in My Docs/PCM 11/Users/username/Database/Solo/name of DB. If you edit the 'normal' database, your changes will only be reflected in a new career.

If I were to start a new carreer, would it be easier to import the sponsor goals from my old carreer to my new one, so my planning can stay the same?

Yes, you could do that without much difficulty. Have you played any of them? (in which point of your career are you, btw)?

Not yet, I'm using Vacansoleil and my first goal is Omloop het Niewsblad, and I'm currently preparing for that in Vuelta a Andalucia.

The thing is, it is my first real carreer. It's the first time I did a complete planning for the entire season. The goals are realistic for once, and I received good Legendary staff members from the start. I also managed to win the TdU and Tour Mediteranneen. With such a lovely start, it would suck to throw it all away!

That's wjhy I'd rather import the new db somehow. I guess I could continue using the beta DB, but I don't really know what has been changed in the full version. I don't really care much about the graphics, but if there have been changes to the calendar/races, or lots of stat changes I do think it would be worth it. I already noticed changes to Poels and Novikov so I figured it would be worth updating somehow.
