Stupid German BDR. Angry
It`s not like he is riding for winning. He is riding for some sponsors to make cycling more popular again. Actually something the BDR should be glad about.

Luckily he is riding mostly in the USA and other countries. I think the Alpecin Cycling Day in Bielefeld was the only German cycling race. So he should be free to ride in other countries then as long as their cycling federations don`t do the same.

Meanwhile, Lance finished 2nd in the Ironman.

In typical Lance fashion, he refused to shake the guy's hand or acknowledge his presence just because the guy beat him.....but at the same time he was full of praise for the guy on twitter.

Also, rumour going around is that to get him to take part, the organizers agreed to his demand to not be dope tested.

The guy can't really conceive sport without doping, can he? I find it sad, rather than hilarious.

Apparently LeMond was his idol (perfectly understandable) until they were riding together and Lance mentioned drugs. LeMond assured him he'd never needed to do drugs.

Lance refused to believe that was even possible and labelled LeMond a liar. From then on he hated LeMond.

You're so cynical. He's that good a man that he's saving the organisers some money. In good Fifa logic he doesn't dope, so they shouldn't waste money in those futilities, given they wouldn't find a thing, whatsoever.

Betsy Andreau has spoken out to Velonews about the Lance case being dropped, and well...she is pissed. To say the least. The details in the interview are primarily what we know, that the Feds had a slam-dunk case on the doping front (who knows on the fraud front), and political pressure probably shut them down, as well as that the USADA will be getting everything it needs to take Lance down. Oh, plus a lot of conjecture. But hey, she did ask for an unedited forum to talk.

So basically, it looks like the USADA will be having no issues stripping a couple Tour victories from Mr. Armstrong in the coming weeks, although at the cost of even more of Velonews' journalism cred.

Rasmus Henning, Danish triathlon dude, complained quite a lot. Usually, the top-3 is always tested, but not in this particular race. Instead, the organizers tested random guys between 4-10, Henning said.

The guy who won the race tweeted today that he did not feel like he was snubbed by LA. He says that people are making something out of nothing

Meanwhile, at Radioshack....

Andy Schleck, the rider that 99% of fans criticize for only caring about two races, says he hasn't focused enough on the Tour and will disregard the other races even more from now on.

At first I thought Andy might be joking, but then I remembered he has the comedic timing of lung cancer.

He's pushing new boundaries for stupidity every day. It's no wonder fans hate him.

Honestly? He has a lot of talent and is just wasting it. This is why I tell people that I think Frank is the better of the two - at least he has a more varied palmares.

I really like Andy. How is it possible to be such a loser with that talent. He is really trying hard not to win anything.

The London Track World Cup starts today - first competition in the Olympic velodrome. Im spending all weekend there, and Ive so far written previews of the first 3 days - incase anyone is interested in Track Cycling enough to want to read them! Theres a bit of a explanatory slant to them, aswell as a small amount of British bias. (What, me write something with a British bias? Pfft)

Thats some really really good previews, SportingNonsense. SmileLooking very much forward to this World Cup, and to watch the danish 4000 meter team. They are not one of the favorites, but they could make a good result if they drive up to the best they can. Though its not the strongest team, cause Michael Mørkøv and Alex Rasmussen is busy on the road, but still a good team if they are in top shape Pfft

Also looking really forward to se Marc Hester (points race) back in the danish national jersey. Its pretty big news in danish cycling that he is back for the danish national team after in many years being left outside by danish cycling federation. He just won the Copenhagen 6-days, so he should be in great shape, but he is not really expert in pointsrace but in madison. Hopefully he can make a good result also.

Besides that its interesting what the best times are going to be on the track in London. I dont know if its a fast or slow track, but soon i do. Pfft

Damn those trackriders from Australia are so daaaamn good. Impressive time. Should be a fun finale vs Great Britain in front of the fans Pfft

Really disappointing time by Russia! Also Denmark was crap, but one or two of the riders have been ill, plus they, as i said in the other post, dont have the strongest team. But Russia im really surprised they couldnt do better.

Yeh, I never thought Russia would be beaten by Belgium.

Looking forward to witnessing the GB-Australia final. The atmosphere will be awesome.

Ive also now done my blog for Sunday's Preview: http://sumofmarc....up_16.html
