I am no stranger to PCM, but I have never been bright enough to start my own story. So here I am, on PCMdaily, starting my first ever story, and the team i'm writing about, is.....
I will write single picture reports, and after spending some time on the PCM Benelux site, I have decided to use their 2011 DB, which has just recently been released. I hope my story will be viewed as unique, with a different presentation and approach.
I've noticed that one of your admins roturn, has written a Garmin story, already into his fourth season! I am hoping to create a nice, long story that makes a name for me on this site, and next season, I will write a Project 1T4i story when the 2012 DB's start to fly out of production. But now, onto the story!
Part I - Team Presentation
As one of the stronger teams in the pro-peloton, we have several leaders, who are outlined here in this small segment.
Thor Hushovd
Johan Vansummeren,
Sep Vanmarcke
Heinrich Haussler
are the men you'll see in Garmin colours when the northern classics come around.
Tyler Farrar
is one of the fastest yanks you'll see. He pushes bikes to speeds you can't imagine. Can beat anyone on his day, including Cavendish.
Ryder Hesjedal
Christian Vandevelde
Christophe Le Mével
Daniel Martin
Tom Danielson
lead our monster bunch of climbers and hilly specialists, that will aim for solid results in week-long stage races such as Paris - Nice and Tour of California, as well as the big three Grand Tours.
The rest of our team is very strong, and with the Aussie Army and reliable British trio of Lloyd, Millar and Hammond supporting the men stated earlier, we hope for major success in 2011 and beyond!

Part II - Australian Cycling Season
Well, here we are, the early season begins, as usual, in a hot Victorian summer, with the national champions in both the road and timed disciplines set to be crowned. The usual suspects of Evans (BMC), Porte (SBS), Rogers (SKY), will probably become time-trial champions, but our own Jack Bobridge and Cam Meyer will give it a red-hot go.
The road race is a different thing though, with a hilly, but not too challenging circuit course awaiting the hopefuls. Riders like Simon Gerrans (SKY), Matt Goss (THR) and Allan Davis are most suited to the course, but again, Jack, Cam and his brother Travis Meyer will definitely be up there for Garmin. They will aim to develop some nice early season form in time for the first UWT event of the season, the traditional Santos Tour Down Under.
Also, as you may have noticed, Heinrich Haussler will not participate since he is still in the midst of officially changing his nationality to Australian from German, so he is ineligible to race in Ballarat. But he is set to be a proud Aussie by the start of the TDU in a couple of weeks.
Road - Race Championships
The riders will do 11 circuits of the course, which includes a short and not too hard climb. Jack Bobridge is the leader for Garmin - Cervélo.

Part II - Australian Cycling Season
Tour Down Under Time! Wave that flag!
Today, the first stage begins in Mawson Lakes, 14kms out of Adelaide all the way to Tanunda, before three laps of a circuit throughout Tanunda, Nuriootpa and, the site of the finish line, Angaston. A sprinter will most likely take out the win today, which means Thor is our best hope.

Thank you to all readers so far!
Part II - Australian Cycling Season
Stage 2 starts in the new venue of Tailem Bend on the river. After 64kms of hilly racing, the climb of Dawesly Hill rewards the first over the top with precious KoM points. Then, after going through Woodside and Mount Torrens, and a set of sprint points, the riders go into Mannum, where a downhill sprint awaits them.

Thanks Fuglsang and Cunego, great to hear you are enjoying!
Part II - Australian Cycling Season
Today's third stage should decide the race's overall winner. The race starts in Unley, quite close to the city, and finishes in Stirling. They head off down the Southern Expressway for 30kms, until they reach McLaren Vale, for the first Jayco Sprint, the into Echunga for the next. They then reach the hills of Bridgewater, before three laps of the Bradbuy, Mylor, Aldgate circuit, which should force some fair gaps. If Kittel can hold onto the front group, his ochre leader's jersey will be one step closer. We believe Thor has a great chance for victory this afternoon, but will be vigilante for climbers like Tony Martin or Beñat Intxausti to attack near the end.
