So Bayern defense in the final will probably look like this, I guess:
-------------Neuer-------------
Rafinha-Boateng-Tymo-Lahm
-----Kroos------Schweins.----
Good thing I'm for Chelsea

Should be a Drogba-Meireles party against that defence. |

Meireles will party on the stands, as he is banned because of cards, together with Terry, Ramires and Ivanovic. Chelsea has no defence at all at tis point.

Bosingwa, Cahil, Luiz and Ashely Cole. Droga is a great defender too Luiz and Cahil will be fit for the final.
Ramiers and Ivanovic are the biggest blows to the team, with Mata those are the 3 best players in the season for Chelsea.

Vacansoleil's contracts catch more dopers than drug testing. |

Bayern - Chelsea ... well, imagine a world where Manchester City wins the Premier League, and Chelsea takes CL. That'd suck.
I don't like Bayern at all, but they are still preferable over Chelsea.

Why would that suck Crue? Just because they used more money to come to the top of the PL instead of Man Utd? |

In my mind, it does suck if you can just spend a billion euro and immediately become a top team. I prefer teams that are built up slowly and steadily and climb to the top that way.
But that's just me being old-fashioned, I guess. Feel free to blame me for being a hypocrite based on the fact that United may or may not have spent a whole lot of money to become a top team back in the beginning of the 1900's.

I don´t like spending as much also. But almost every top team is spent money when they needed in the past. What about Veron for 28 million pounds and it was 10 years ago where prices were lower. So even Utd or Arsenal or any other big team spent a lot of money. But yeah I agree that in shorter time it look much worse. So I feel free to blame you for being only Half-hypocrite. Not because of 1900's but because of 1990's and later

I certainly doubt that United - at any point - has spent as much during one season or two seasons as Chelsea did in the years after 2003 and City in the years after the Arab dudes took over. In fact, I don't doubt, I know for sure.
You can always point out one huge transfer, but that doesn't change the facts. From 1992-2011, Chelsea spent £25,798,250 on average per season, City spent £23,681,350. United? £8,865,500. That's despite the fact that City and Chelsea didn't get rich until mid-00's (even later for City) while United has been a top club during that entire period.
That being said, the hypocritical part is - where do you draw the line? When is much too much? I don't know

That is the reason why I called Half-hypocite and I am one as well - football today IS about money. It is sad but it is true.

I'm not a United fan, but they have built their success over a number of years. They have expanded their stadium and built up a fanbase abroad. They could be spending more now but for the fact that the Glazers take lots out of the club to pay off debts elsewhere.
It's not the same as being given lots of money out of the blue. |

This and only, i agree completly. And one cant really compare Chelsea or City to clubs like United or Arsenal, the approach to the buying and raising of players is absolutely different. Also they have added value in tradition.
During last couple of years Arsenal has almost +-0 zero transfer differential and still has one of the most talented players in England, compared to hundreds od millions that Chelsea and City used
It does not mean Chelsea or City are not quality clubs, but i would respect them more with different policy.
